Great report axeman!

Bacon and brie, bacon and brie - off to the local Sainsburys now I'm inspired!

I'll have to keep an eye open for this place when I reach there in September - do you recall what it was called?

An excelent report to read, thanks for posting about your trip!.

Glad that Rick's still do the €2.50 happy hour pints between 4-6pm. Another reason why I'll certainly stay at the Bulldog in Nov as Ricks is only a few mins walk away. I mean a cheap beer with your splif has to be a good thing!.

Sozz to hear the rain put a dampner on your trip!. I think I'll have to take an unbarella with me as I recall how bad the rain can get over there!.

Great report, Ax. I love how you dedicated that day at de Dampkring to buying half-grams of everything. Is there a slight "up-charge" for that privilege, or do they literally cut the gram price by 50 percent?

A couple questions:
1. While you prefer smoking mixed joints, did you find yourself getting along better than you anticipated in smoking pure? About the same as you expected? Not as well? How do you think others who prefer smoking mixed joints will regard the smoking ban after experiencing it in practice, as you have?
2. In the U.S., we typically don't smoke with those humongously long papers commonly available in coffeeshops. Did you notice anyone going to smaller, cigarette-sized papers (what we typically call "single-sized" papers in the states) because of the pure-joint requirement indoors?
3. Where does one smoke joints at the airport? Heck, I don't even know what the front of the airport looks like. I usually just go smokeout at Central C/S until about 2 hours before my flight, sprint for the train, Schiphol, check in, gate.

If I may also ask a question thats been bugging me, just in case you might know axeman, or anyone really?.

But have you noticed any coffeeshops, more those who have no seperate areas for tobacco smokers, that have had issues with any type of mixers being used in a joint?.

Just that I'm wandering if to cover there own backs some coffeeshops that have no seperate tobacco smoking areas might even ban non tobacco mixers from being used to save on the possability of getting caught and fined?.

Great round up to the trip...despite the weather it looks like you made the most of it.

Glad to see that a couple of shops were accommodating in the half gram sales also!! Also to mention I loved the John Sinclair too, so it's nice to see that is still a good strain.

Thanks for writing again.

Firstly: Half Grams = Half the price of 1g, no "up-charge"

1.To be honest it didn't bother me that much as there are a few places that allow tobacco smoking. Smoking pure was fine, although it made me cough quite a bit. Others seemed to be enjoying the experience just fine.

2.Yes! I myself tore a bit off the usual kingsize papers to shorten them down. I needed a lot more green to fill a full kingsize paper.

3.I smoke joints at the airport outside departure gate 3 upstairs. There is usually 2-3 others having their final spliff of the trip too.
