Canibus Cup 2008... Who's goin???
Save your money guys , and go any other time BUT the cup.
You'll have more fun and be able to stay longer.
I've been once and though I enjoyed myself, I wouldn’t do it again
Out of all the times I've been , I had a better time when the cup wasn't on.
I just can't but help think , the Cup is in place solely to rip off our American friends.

I did indeed !
Which makes the whole circus worse .
Cos they're rippin off their own , but hey thats just my opinion.
I just like being there when its not on.
If it it is a ripoff why should the nationality of the people who are getting ripped off be important? It is a ripoff all the same.
Or maybe
Moby69 is joking?
A lot of Americans have very little time off from work, skipping silly American Thanksgiving and heading to Amsterdam, Cup or not is a brilliant idea!

Because like I was reminded its Americans who run it , and mainly Americans who pay through the nose to go.
When in reality they could go any other time and spend the same, but stay twice as long.
Or stay the same amount and spend half the amount.
Either way I'm just saying I didn't think it was all that.
The year I went it was packed , but I just thought it was a bit unmellow that's all.
lol
ps
just for the record !
I'm having a go at the Cup , not Americans.
I'm on their side.
They would have a more Dutch experience and get more for the $ going any other time.
That's all cool. I understand what you are saying. I don't think anyone believes that you are having a go at the people who attend the cup.moby69 wrote:Because like I was reminded its Americans who run it , and mainly Americans who pay through the nose to go.Aliciao wrote:

Agreed: I do think that with all of the judging, voting and long hauls to thePowerzone, people who go to this year's cup will not get much of the "Dutch Experience" unless they stay before or after the cup.
Apologies for the semi-hijack of the thread.
I find Amsterdam to be fairly packed no matter what time of year it is. I'll be there in November before and after the cup, just not going to the cup. I'll be trying to get the Dutch Experience
