Get your self some kinder eggs and use the orange casing inside to ram full of cannabis. You can fit 11g of green or 35g of hash into 1 egg!!

Thank you, CHELSEA_SMOKERS_SOCIETY and Themindwanders, for sharing information about Camden. I apologise for not thanking you sooner: my e-mail auto-alert was switched off. Since my question no longer pertains to Customs, I shall post elsewhere. Again, many thanks for your help.

I have only bought some back once.
It was a small piece of hash in my carry-on, that I'd left in there by mistake.
What about luggage thats checked in? Isn't this safer?

Checked in luggage is xrayed (now days all checked in luggage is xrayed) and can be passed over by a sniffer dog, so no it isnt any safer. Besides you have both checked in luggage and carry on luggage on you when you run the guantlet through customs.
Posting it to your home address is the safest way imo as long as you take some precautions.

I never, ever, ever take anything through customs I just wouldn't risk it.
Unfortunately I was so stoned this week that when I was sitting in Luton Airport waiting for my friend to pick me up, I opened up my bag and rifled through to find my "manbag" that I carry round with me. As I was rummaging through i caught my tin and knocked it open, and found almost 4 grams of weed I'd forgot to dispose of. Oh well
I got out of the airport pretty quickly...
then smoked it all after work last night with some friends

"Odd News: Immigration officers had a "Kinder Surprise" when found marijuana inside a chocolate egg Sunday, 27 July 2008
Immigration officers had a "Kinder Surprise" when they discovered a woman smuggling drugs using a plastic container from one of the children's treats.
The traveller arrived at Birmingham airport with 30g of cannabis hidden in a container from the chocolate egg - normally used to hold a plastic toy.
The woman, from the Coventry area, was arrested and later released with a formal warning, a spokesman for the UK Border Agency said."

From what I recall from my previous trips there should be next to no issues of being searched or baggage being x-rayed once you arrive back in the UK. As everything is x-rayed (hand luggage twice I think) and randomly body searched when you leave Dam airport!.
So unless your suspected or anything is found on you before you leave Dam what reason do UK customs have to think Dam customs have not already checked everything properly at least twice?. In fact I dont think I have ever seen a person stoped and searched or even a single piece of baggage x-rayed when arriving back in the UK from any country!.
I'm not saying baggage (both hold and hand) does'nt get x-rayed on return to the UK, I've just never seen it happen on any trip as of yet. If you dont look guilty or like your trying to avoid any contact with the guys at custom, cant see a problem myself.
Seems to me the challenge is more like getting to your plane in Amsterdam than getting out the airport in the UK!.

[quote="SoulRider"]my "manbag" quote]
I majorly object to that phase.
Men use pockets.
Sorry for the off topic post but i was previously having a discussion about manbags with a smoking buddy.

i've had stuff delivered from MoMs before with no difficulty and so last time i was in Adam (june)i took the plunge, split all the shit i had left at the end of my trip (i always buy way too much!)into 2 packages, put the gear into soft pencil cases and posted them to my home address with my name spelt ever so slightly different on the front. one made it no probs, one disappeared into the ether with no comeback from customs or police.
there was approx a quarter in each btw.
my understanding of the process is that you're not worth busting if you don't send back weight.
to safeguard yerself i would suggest changing yer name slightly, getting someone else to write the name and address or get it printed, make yer package as inconspicuous as possible, and to put the gear into some kind of container before you put it into the envelope.
does anybody know if any coffeehouses sell vaacum sealed smoke? i would reckon if you could get some sealed stuff it would improve the success rate.
i'd also like to hear from smogzy as to what precautions he recommends.
hope this helps!
peace
