There has been another thread by Puffin13 about Cannabis books. I was wondering if any of you have read any other books about other drugs? A good one that i have read is Killing Pablo by Mark Bowden. It tells you about Pablo growing up and dealing weed to his mates when he was a kid, then growing and growing and becoming more and more brutal along the way. He was a real fucker. 30 Judges killed, 457 policemen, and 20 murders a day for two months. The book is said to be the most accurate portrayal of Escobar. The guy interviewed former hitmen, henchmen, politicians, police, enemies, friends and relatives and victims. A bloody good read, especially the first 100 or so pages.

Read sheepshaggers by Niall Griffiths...drugs experieces beautifully crafted, discriptions of local Welsh scenery poetic, and the sheer hardhitting awfulness of the violence make it requied reading

Both the Drug smuggling books by Robert Sabbag called " Snowblind" and "Smokescreen" are cracking reads.
Ones about the coke trade and t'other the Ganj.

If I remember right there's a couple of excerts from both books in the Howard Marks book of Dope Stories.

Completly off topic, anyone read Lemmy's Bio. White Line Fever?
Thats a fucking great book, the guys funny as fuck!
