did any of u brits ever go to a coffeeshop just outside of brighton(worthing)? dunno what happened to it...........do any of u????

Never got to go there, but the smoking ban would have killed it for def.

I posted in another topic the wording of the ban, but it stops smoking of any lit substance.

Yea and that fact its illegal to sell and posses weed.

Just have to say imo there is no point in trying to open a coffeeshop here its just 2 jailbait, maybe some sort of private members club could work but defo not a place where anyone can stroll in.

You'd be surprised how reasonably successful they were. They never sold weed, just allowed you to smoke your own. Although if you didn't have any and asked the right questions...

There was one in Milton Keynes where I live a couple of years ago. Was left alone until the owner started getting involved in the harder shit, and causing trouble around.

There is a pub in Hull my shitty home city where people smoked weed openly- smoking ban will have probably killed that too, don't know haven't been since

squat parties. people take anything they like without anyone batting an eyelid.

Oh, and I met a glaswegian called Ross on my last trip to Amsterdam. He told me of an Indian restaurant in glasgow that allowed smokes. He went in there first time after hearing that and started skinning up on the seat next to him.

The owner walked over to himm and said no, please don't roll that on the seats.........

roll it on the table so you don't burn the fabric, lol, quality. Again, the smoking ban would have killed that. I think people in the UK never really realised how widespread smoke friendly places were. That's why the smoking ban was deliberately worded the way it was, to stamp that out.

There was 1 coffeeshop setup in Rhyl, North Wales some years ago. The guy who owned it\set it up was on the news a few times over it as I recall with various court apperances. I recall he even won a case at some point.

Cant recall what happened to that 1. But I do recall him succesfully justifying it's being in court on more than 1 occasion lol.

The best thing was he took the piss out of the police by setting up the coffeeshops website as something like northwalespolice.co.uk or something like that lol. Not that it links the any coffeeshop now as just checked!.

they did sell weed and hash as well, for the going street prices!!!!! handy as you like at the time!!!!!

its still open, coooooool, looks like i ll be cruiseing up the road alil bit later today, its only about 30 mins to get their!!!!!!! worthing here i come

Went to the 'Dutch Experience' in Stockport a few times. Sadly well gone now

jus got back from"the hole in the wall cs, took a while to findit, local tatto shop dude pinpointed it for me...... blimey fort knox on the outside, chilled coffee shop on the inside! had a chat with the dude behind bar, said i came on a bad day as they only had one variety, but he said ha would email me when new bits came in.... i had some green,bit damp but defo better than what i had, it was worth the journey and they can expect another visit soon!!! the dudes in their were propper big and ripped,so you felt quite safe...... i didnt stop coz me other half was waitin for me... next time i will stop for longer and have a coffee ,,, their were also people sitting about smokeing and chilling out!!! go visit every one, proper mad haveing a coffee shop jus up the road from me,,i couldent belive it, see for your self every one
