Coffeeshops In Utrecht

Post by SoulRider »

During my stay in Holland, I will be meeting up with an internet friend in Utrecht.

I have seen a list of the coffeeshops on the site, but does anyone have any recent experiences of them?

Back in 91 or 92, I got some excellent weed called Budsie at Wietstok.

I found it sort of fun to toke on a boat across from a prison at Culture Boat.

As far as I know, both shops are still in business.

Enjoy

Wietstok is a decent shop. It's rather small though. It has about 4 tables inside but not many people come in to sit. Andersom, Wietstok's sister shop, has the same menu and is much larger. I would recommend Andersom also.
Culture Boat is definitely worth a visit. A very chilled boat/shop.
I havent really come across much herb in Utrecht that is "really nice". I usually bring some Amsterdam herb with me. Be aware that some of the shops require you buy some of their weed. Happy tokin! Peace.
