I forget to ask if you need a transformer or just an adapter. Most digital cameras and iPods and the like have the range to handle a adapter only without using a transformer. Check your device range. My wife had a hair dryer which required a transformer as well. If you're not sure this place is a good start, they are very helpful.
as for where to buy it listen to Geoff and Jester. if you are unsure what you need i would get a converter and a transformer, these are relatively inexpensive and it could save your electronics from blowing out. also do you really want to spend your time in the Dam searching for an electronics store??courtjester wrote:Listen to GeoffK. He's telling you they're everywhere.
Any Radio Shack/Best Buy/Circuit City, etc., also should have them. And yes, they work.

What you need to do is check out your chargers . See if it shows a range of currents it will accept ... often it'll say 110-250...if so, you just need the adapter ...For example our laptop needed just a 3 euro adapter from Blokker (the one on Jodenbreestraat had a whole bin full)... or from Radio Shack or the outlet Geoff provided ... Our global economy at work .
