The luxury of havin enough weed that ya never have to smoke a joint down that far .....clips or not, I'd have to say 'Nah sorry, I'm not an ashtray....you put it out!'.
I have to say, in Amsterdam you quickly become remiss about how much weed you let go to waste..... at home I dab every crumb of green and get it into the joint, I also don't pack it all the way to the roach..... In Amsterdam however so much get left or scraped into the Ashtray it's ridiculous.
personally i do it like most english people with a little bit of ciggie a fair old chunk of bud, and a roach so u dnt look like tit wandering around all night with resin on your lip!
In Massachusetts, my hipster friends were rolling with tips 15+ years ago, and they called them badogies. (Bah - doe - ghi) I dunno why. Thought it was a cool idea for parties since it eliminated trying to smoke the ends.
Personally, I always preferred a pipe, and could make one out of damn near anything in a pinch. One of the survival skills I learned in the Army.
