If you live in London (or some of the other big cities) then yes but I can happily drive/walk around my town without having to worry about those fuckers.

Thank you for posting that link, rks0.

The privacy of people and everything they do is
speeding to an end. They, the ignorant, powerful & rich vultures that yield their power over nature and the entire human race, will stop at
NOTHING, until
NOTHING is left. They are some very sick mofo's! Bring back the '60's!

Peace n Love.

I fly regularly, virtually always with a laptop, and never have had its contents checked. I also never have seen anyone troubled to do more with their laptops than turn them on, and rarely even that. I do appreciate the Washington Post's vigilance in raising the issue before it becomes one.
About the only time I don't bring a laptop is when flying to Amsterdam, where many coffeeshops have computers for quick e-mail checks, and far better things to do anyway.

Hey enginerod,
I sort of understand wanting to take your laptop to the Dam, but not really. I assume you'll be there for vacation, right? If so, why not spend your time exploring the city and whatever else instead of staring at your computer. I don't mean to be offensive, it's just my opinion.
peace man

I agree with both of these. I didn't touch a computer at all last trip. Although I used my "extra time" for sleeping

MileHigh...
I always travel with my laptop and have never been asked to give it to anybody in any country...I have arrived back in the US multiple times and I never even take it out of the bag...during, exiting, or after customs. Anyway if it happens it happens, so what...

Hello Bushwalt........I don't plan on spending much time on the laptop......I plan on getting stoned and seeing the sights.....and meeting people of the same mind. The wife would like me to send pictures and keep in touch while I am gone.........She is sending me on this vacation for a birthday present and I am more than glad to give her whatever she wants...............Thank you for your concern...................
