Greatings, thanks and introductory comments

Post by numbers »

First off: I must credit Lemming for adding me so quick and say that this is a smashing website and forum. Great work.

Secondly: a hearty HELLO and HIGH FIVE to everyone! :D

It's another glorious day in (North) London and I have the morning off so just time for a few words by way of introduction. I'm mid-20s and am into all the usual stuff ie pubs, films, books, sports etc. There are plans afoot for a (first) trip to dam with a few likeminded friends in October. I'm a longstanding listner of the podcasts over on dopefiend . co . uk and in a recent dopecast the ACD was referenced as the coffeeshop guide par excellence and so I'm beginning to mine the considerable amount of useful and entertaining info and reviews found here. Anyway, I'd better be off, catch you on the forum I hope.

Finally, here a few things I love to do after a toke or two: crack open a bottle of cold white wine or even a beer (it's the best); go for a walk on the heath (more in the summer); play tennis (get's a bit crazy!); watch the mighty Arsenal FC on the box (get's even crazier and the air turns blue!); fire up the playstation (Bishi-Bashi is hilarious with friends round); Listen to music with the headphones on (especially 'Lefty's lounge'); and, of course, chat up a storm with good friends.

good wishes and respect, numbers.

I am! Well, kind of. Have been living in the arsehole end of highgate for the last few years - just past Archway - so it's straight down the holloway road on match days on the rare occasions I'm able to get a ticket or two.

Haven't toked and gone to a game yet though - it can be a pretty intense experience following a game closely on the idiot box, not sure I could handle being in a 60,000 seater after chiefing it on a doob or two!

Welcome to the forum.

For all first time visitors I suggest S G Collins excellent site:

How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam.

When you have firm dates for October, let me know. I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.

Enjoy
