Sniffer Dogs?

Does anyone know if the sniffer dogs at airports (in the UK) can sniff magic mushrooms in bags and on people?

And is it much easier and safer to have them mailed to my address in the UK?

you should be ok! they are mainly trained to find hard drugs n money and explosives!

as far as im aware they r legal in this country as long as they are alive, if u dry them and move around with em u will be done!

some law! im sure if they find them on u in the airport, human not dog! they will take em off ya! unless u have a valid excuse to y u r bringing them back!!!! i cant think of one, but maybe someone else can!!!

I'd just carry them through (in the suitcase).

Murphyscafe, pretty sure fresh magic mushrooms are illegal in the UK now as well as dried.

yeah im sure their illegal in the UK in any condition, dried or fresh.
i'll bring em in my luggage but not in obvious places.

just wondering do magic mushrooms loose there toxicity when their damaged or broken in anyway (squashed, cut up).

Cash has a scent added to the ink when its made.

The dogs are trained for specific smells, a drug dog cant sniff out explosives or cash much like a explosive sniffing dog cant smell drugs.

i think it might be referring to large amounts of cash that would give off an obvious odor (to a trained dog)

I thought the dogs would be able to smell the money if it had been handled by anyone that had drug residue on their hands. In addition, if someone had residue on their hands, it could also leave a fingerprint for that person. Does this sound right or have I just been watching too much CSI?:lol: Peace.

Dog's noses are incredible dude. They could find a single note stashed in a tiny crack in a wall. Seen it done... it could be the tiniest particle in the most hidden of places and a dog (typically spaniels) could source it.

There's just no point trying to fool a dog.

From a recent survey taken on bank notes in circulation in the UK:

Traces of cocaine

£50 - 62%
£20 - 89.3% - dont ask, i know .3 of a note!!!
£10 - 76%
£5 - 88%

imo - the dogs are trained to smell coke! therefore killing 2 birds with one stone!

i was stopped about a yr ago on my way to Dam, with 2K in 20's and 4 50's, a fat wad!! when i left the checkin desk and walked towards the customs, these 2 copppers walked past the other way with the dog and the dog just turned around and followed me till i stood in the q to go through! ( part of the cash i had was money owed by a friend who dabbles in other stuff apart from green!!!) The copper asked where i was going and if i had a large sum of money on me! my reply was dam and £2k! when i pulled it out to show him the dog started going wild! barking and jumping up, the copper then asked if i was carrying any drugs! my reply was no but give me an hr and i will be loaded with them!!! luckaly he laughed and said that the dog must have smelt coke on the notes and thats what set him off!

if you're paranoid about it, soak loads of them in a bottle of coke or whatever the night before. dont leave any bits in the bottle. no problem.

Murph - Dogs can be trained to smell anything, and generally they are trained in one scent not multiple so as to confuse the dog. Know quite a bit about our furry friends, I do

Poor wee spaniels, if only they knew what they were doing - I'm fairly certain they'd tell the Sunday Shoppers to fuck off

Does soaking them make the mushrooms undetectable or do you mean i should soak them and then drink the coke to have the trip?

Don't want to be a "buzzkill" here but I keep seeing a show here in the US that shows what happens to people who try to smuggle. Now most are people smuggling hard drugs out of Asia or S. America and some end up with long prison sentences. Anyway IMO its not worth what can happen if you get caught. Now I can't speak for the UK but for the States just don't do it. I once had someone tell me that he was going to try to sneak some weed back to the US & I asked him what he would do if he got caught. He said he would just tell them he "forgot" that he had it in his suitcase. Yea thats beliveable, He didn't bring anything back and stayed out of prison.

Go and smoke all you want, take the Shrooms while they are still available but leave them there. Makes me just want to return faster.
