Place was packed when i went in so just bought a pure vanilla kush to smoke while walking on. I know the pre-rolls are the shake etc. but i don't normally smoke pure so was expecting it to do more than it did.

After dropping of my bags at the hotel my first stop will be at barneys. its so chilled and a great way to start the day as its not so busy in the mornings. And a 5 min walk from the hotel.

it will def be one of my first stops...always love the atmosphere in here, not always a big fan of the bud though. But everytime i go i always find that barney's is holding one strain in particular that i have to keep stocking up on...last time it was the g-13...hopefully it will be the tangerine dream this time

Can't wait to visit Barney's during my Jan trip. Laughing Buddha for me please, as long as they're still carrying it.

Excellent place! It can be little overcrowded but since it was my nearest coffee shop I went there everyday. The stuff is a bit pricey but it makes up for it in quality. Had tangerine dream, sweet tooth and king hassan hash and they were all great. Tangerine was really strong, sweet is relaxing and king is kinda stony but with nice mellow feeling. Didn`t like mixture of tangerine and king though, but maybe I just went overboard while I was smoking the rest of my stash before leaving. Budtenders and barmaids were on all occasions different (or maybe it`s just my imagination ) and always really friendy and helpful.

Pleasantly surprised when I stopped in last Sat night, my first ever visit here. Nice look inside and comfortable. Not crowded at all. Chatty tender nand a good time, will definitely be back.

Was here last Saturday & Sunday. Very friendly & chatty dealer - settled down with some Dr Grinspoon in a relaxed comfortable atmosphere. Lovely looking buds - packed with crystals & a smashing head buzz for good measure!
Strongly reccommend the Utopia Haze from here as well.
Finally like the availability of the vaps in the seating area - very relaxed.
I am coming back in April & this will be a regular stop from now on.

staying within a short minute or two walk of the Lounge in August.

Have only been in here once or twice, usually hit the Haarlemmerstraat locations... but looking forward to a few vape sessions... perhaps a vape-n-talk!

Their batch of tangerine dream at the moment caused my friend to pass out and wet himself. Strong shit.

Just returned from Dam last week. Got the tangerine and the red diesel at barneys. Tangerine was amazing... fat fluffy buds covered in dust and crystals, amazing smell and flavour. Some of the best bud I got this trip.The red diesel was nice but was better the last time I was there, wasn't as potent this time but still lovely flavour. They have blue cheese on the menu ATM which looked really nice.

Bud tender and bar staff really good here, very knowledgable, eager to explain the different varietes and strengths. Seems like they actually care unlike some places. That goes for the coffeeshop and lounge. Stopped off here for an hour and watched the tennis! Was great. Barneys is currently my favourite coffeeshop in Dam.

First stop last week. A mixture of Tangerine dream, Dr grinspoon, utopia haze and something else I can't remember nearly had me on the whitey at 8am in the morning, top notch gear even though the price is steep.

Visited on March 28th 2011.

Always like to visit this place as the staff are friendly and helpful and had good stuff in the past.
It is pretty expensive compared to the places I normally go to though.


Really liked the Pineapple Chunk but found the Utopia Haze a bit weak. (Come to think of it I am amazed the Utopia was more expensive).
I smoke a lot of Thai weed and Cheese back home.. maybe I've built up a tolerance somewhere..

Usually avoid this place apart from the odd in and out purchase, but chilled out here for a while last Monday and enjoyed it, from now on we have decided it's first stop on our visits. Really friendly bud tender, no problem showing any strains. I bought 3 grams tangerine dream which was top qualitiy imo, really nice buds great smell and tasted throughout the smoke, 9/10.. Also bought g13 haze which was also nice 8/10, and dr grinspoon which was also much nicer than last time I visited 7.5/10

It's a too expensive here, but if the quality is there than I don't mind paying that little bit more

Visited Barney's yesterday, Dr. Grinspoon looked pretty bad. I bought a gram, worked allright but it looked all scraggly and there weren't any good buds to choose from. Tangerine dream on the other hand was good, bud's weren't as pretty as during the cup, but still some nice looking nugs. Might even grow some TD of my own, in case I can't find anything I like better.

The Dr always looks like that, it grows thin and not in buds. That's why its expensive, low yields.
