HI - thanks for the reply
yes it was very busy, however this does not justify the rudeness we faced and observed - many other coffee shops were busy too - but not one place we found to be rude like barneys farm -

^^ sounds like thats barneys on haarlemerstraat, not barneys lounge. ive never been to the hmstraat one but i stay away as i know its the the one that most people go to. i like a quiter coffeeshop, barneys lounge always has a free table (fri n sat nights excluded) and every dealer has been really friendly
check the lounge out next time Abbs, i think you'll like it

Thanks guys, will do
yes the one we went to was just way too busy -
I really wanted to go to basejoes - think we went their one morning and it was closed - then we never tried again - I understand this is one of the top if not top coffee shop currently around - what a shame I missed it - But hey, another excuse to go back -
Im actually more or less free all week, just the odd jobs to do on the net which I can actually do from amsterdam - Im waiting for something to arrive in the post - My friends already got his - really wouldnt mind another 1- 2 day trip but need to justify the spend - The trip i just came from cost in the region of £600 - but it was awsome
I need to get my trip pictures up - We didnt just go from coffee shop to coffee shop - we actually hired bikes - one day we saw a group of yellow cyclists who were on a guided tour - we followed them and it was great - we see parts of amsterdam that we never see before and there is so much too amsterdam then just the coffee shops -
We enjoyed smoking and then riding around whilst we were stoned - Nearly killed a few people during our rides and its very easy to spot someone new in amsterdam as if your not walking or biking in the correct area your causing accidents and slowing everything down - I am very impressed how easy amsterdam has made it for cyclists and there is no better way to enjoy yourself then get a cycle and ride around whilst your stoned

Never been a big fan of barneys but the last two visits have probably given me the best weed in dam. Friendly bud tender, tangerine dream, red diesel, vanilla kush.. Perfect start to my trip!
Prices still too high imo, but the quality is there

i agree prices are a bit high - barneys normally does have some great bud - the royal jelly is over priced but good and the ice from greenhouse puts me to sleep!

I really like this place. It was close to our hotel on our first trip and I visited a few times. The staff here were by far the most helpful friendly people of both trips. I had the Tangerine dream which was excellent both times. The Blue Cheese was the best tasting stuff on my Feb trip. Smelt so strongly of Blueberry pancakes. Also on both trips tried the Utopia Haze and the Nevilles A5 Haze. Both nice uplifting day time smokes. All up this is a great shop. It is a bit out of the way so it is not always packed. I will return next trip for sure.

I tried the nectar in Feb. It was tasty as bong said. I was already spannered by the time I got it so strength was hard to gauge. Taste was great I remember that much!
