They didn't have the truffles or Golden Teacher? Their website makes it look lik they no longer sell mushrooms and I can't ever get them to email me back. :?:

They had Philosopher's Stones, which are truffles, I think. On this occasion I did not consume any truffles, because in the past I have found truffles to be too weak. I do not recall whether they had Golden Teacher. Despite what is suggested in some shops' advertising, I don't think there is actually any difference between mushrooms in quality of effect (visual effects versus philosophical effects, etc.). I think there is a difference only in quantity of psilocybin (i.e., some mushrooms have more psilocybin than others, like whisky has more alcohol than beer does). So it doesn't matter what you buy, as long as you take enough. (One exception could be if psilocybin has a different effect than psilocin and the two are present in different proportions.)

Maybe they don't ship mushrooms to your country. They most certainly did sell mushrooms when I last visited the shop in person, two weeks ago. If you aren't having any luck by email, you could try telephoning them. They won't have very much time to talk to you on the telephone, though, because their main priority is the customer standing in the shop. And they did a great job addressing that priority with me two weeks ago.

I wasn't wanting them to mail me any, more or less info on what they had. I've emailed Tatanka on if they had a trip room (since I'll be there in December and it might be too cold to stay outdoors for the duration of the trip and in a place I've never visited as well) and all they told me is that they have a new location. When I emailed Kokepeli, I was trying to see what kind they had (since Tatanka has an extensive menu) and so far you've given me more answerers than their website. I was basically shopping around or doing research and I figured the company that wanted my business would be the one who emails me back and every time I've emailed Tatanka, they've responded, though I'm starting to think that they don't have a trip lounge, even though they have an i-net lounge. The place you went to had pictures of its lounge and it looks nice with the canal scenery. If it's not too cold in early December, then I'm sure I could trip at the park, but don't want to go to any coffeeshops or bars, regardless of how cool they look due to having to interact in public with people who are not tripping. It's been almost 7 years since I've done mushrooms or acid and the last thing I want to do is act like an ass or a retard around people not expecting it, but I'm sure a place with a trip lounge will understand and with the legal paranoia surrounding mushrooms, will even act a little bit like a babysitter, since I'll have no one there with me.

Hearing what you have to say, and mindful that no place is perfect, I would still recommend the Kokopelli tripping lounge for you. Your hotel room could be a good place to trip with close friends, but perhaps the hotel is not as good if you are alone. I have never been to Tatanka, so I don't know for sure whether Tatanka has a lounge. Kokopelli's own lounge is quite small, with only two tables, so you might have to share a table with strangers. But even if these strangers aren't themselves tripping, they will expect other patrons like you to be tripping, and they'll probably be quite nice. (One girl I met in Kokopelli was not herself tripping, but she was interested in my experience of the mushrooms and asked a lot of good questions.) Wear warm clothes, even in the lounge. Although the Kokopelli staff were very nice and helpful, when I asked to close the windows, they refused (maybe to accommodate pot smokers?). They told me that mushrooms make you cold through perspiration, and they rightly chided me for wearing summer clothes. Concerning acid, I have never myself tried it. I imagine acid is better than mushrooms: people always say mushrooms are the closest thing to acid, never the other way round. I would be interested to know your experience of this, though I suspect you're not supposed to discuss illegal things in this forum. I hope you have a great trip in December. Please let me know how it goes, when you get back.

Acid usually comes on very strong within 20-30 minutes and only last for about 10-12 hrs. I know nothing about grams or ounces when it comes to mushrooms cause we normally out in Oklahoma find a field with about 20-800 or more caps at a time (back in the teenage years mind you), so I would say that acid is like eating 12-18 dried caps. If you've ever had the strong desire to climb a tree or drive in reverse out in the country back roads (as a teen mind you) or crawl under your desk and not know how to get out for the next 10 hrs, then that is acid, or watching your friend dig a big whole in his backyard so he can have a place to bury his gold because a rainbow will land on that spot any minute. If you can stomach the taste of keeping moonshine in your mouth for 10 minutes, then I suggest nutmeg, which is almost like acid, but takes a lot longer to kick in and lasts a lot longer too (like a whole day to 48 hrs). I'll probably trip at the kokopeli. Have you done Salvia? I got a 10% discount coupon from Tatanka for the inconvenience on their taking almost 2wks to respond to my email, so I'll probably try it with that coupon.

I enjoyed this post it did not occur to me to do mushies in the shop. I have done a lot of acid in my younger days and i tried mushies a few times, so although i respect them i am not too worried about handling them, however i do remember that they used to make me throw up and that would "not be good",my plan is to eat them in the shop and after the initial rush wander over to one of the coffeeshops,i think the problem with them before was that we were eating handfulls of them and then going straight down to the pub to wash them down with lager, not the best idea i was a lot younger though.I will not be taking alcohol with them now,but from reading some of the posts throwing up does still seam to be an issue,i think doing them early on an empty stomach is probably the way to go,what do you guys think.
