Just checked your review, sounds great.

Haarlemerstraat certainly is some street now with a Barney's, a Dampkring and a Greenhouse. Nice :)

Doody, as you didn't mention tobacco I'm assuming you can't smoke it on site...Do they have any outside seating?

Was cool to read everyones comments.

Hard to keep adding live parts but I just walked my dad to the station for his flight home so I am all alone to have some fun....haha. Checked into the GHE hotel ok too, and they are cool with smoking in the room still (as were Old Quarter also!)

Smoking some Bubblegum from the coin right now which is one of their cheaper weeds at €8,50 but I think it has a nice stoned to it although it's not that strong. Got some Diesel from Rusland this morning which the dealer said was diesel haze but just had the singular name on the menu. It was €12 and absolutely lovely taste and effect, ended up smoking that in no time at all.

No idea what the plan is for tonight but will see what happens.

Last I went was early June so the "smoking ban" was bsrely being considered, several shop owners told me it wouldn't effect much. So last time at Greenhouse Haarlemmerstraat I smoked inside, and they had seats right next to the open front, but no terras seating.

Valo, did you make it there? How has it been with the smoking ban? Let us know when you have the chance. I go back in November, will be interesting if you can only smoke outside as it will be cold and wet then.

Smoke on.......
Have a great day!!!

Feeling a little tender today due to a heavy night but still enjoying every minute. Just chilling out back at the Greenhouse Effect right now. Had a good night smoking and looking around when I went into the Newcastle pub on Lange Niezel for a few late night drinks. Ended up getting friendly with the barmaid and her friend, along with another English tourist and we carried on drinking until 3am when the bar closed and moved round the corner to Pinocchio's for a couple more beers. Eventually deciding on 3 of us wanting to go out for more drinks and we walked to the Liedseplein (which seemed quicker than it was) and went to Club Royalty until that closed at 5:30am, by which time I was pretty done in!!
Walked back with the English guy, Simon, who was staying in Warmoesstraat also and had only 2 hours before he had to get the train back to London via Brussels...very nice guy though, as were the other 2 I met and I had a super night.

Also the girl we went with met a friend in there who I recognised as being the barman from Excalibur, he was really chuffed I knew him and plied me with plenty of beer all night....haha.

Walked through the RLD quite a few times (naturally) and notice the new fashion windows all over the place which i'm not too fond of...there are still a good number of beautiful ladies working but it's a shame that a good number of windows have closed. There is a noticeable difference in the number of street dealers reducing too which is a good thing, I only get approached once a night now instead of 20.

As for smoke so far....Silver Bubble (€13) from Grey Area is another lovely smoke I bought and worth the money considering I have bought a couple around that price range (Strawberry Haze €14 Greenhouse Centrum; LA Confidential €13,50 Hunters/Coin) and although they have been nice smokes, just wasn't worth the money and I wouldn't buy them again knowing what else is out there. But I do like the Silver Bubble. Bought some Cheese from Anyday for €10,90 per gram and it looked a nicer bud than the Dampkring cheese, but didn't quite have the same smell and high.....similar but I prefer the Dampkring one. It appears loads of shops now have Cheese or variations of that at various prices.

Doody: The smoking ban hasn't affected myself in the slightest due to I never smoke tobacco anyway and really only stick to pipes, bongs or vapos which have been accepted in every coffeeshop I have been so far. I have seen quite a few people told to make sure they smoke tobacco outside so most places are strict, although some are lucky to have the space available for smoking areas....otherwise it will be on the terraces.

Damn i can write a lot when I had a smoke!!

Going to Adam in Sept just added this place to the list of "go to's", it sounds like a nice chilled place for a smoke.
