any one know what the weather is gonn be like in the dam over the next few days? do i need my shades or an umbrella??????? cheers

I wouldn't go to Amsterdam w/out a rain jacket or shades.

Agree with GK. Also, if you use an umbrella in a bad Amsterdam storm, there's a decent chance it gets flipped inside out and broken to bits as you chase it down the street. A rain slicker is better.

Actually, going into a coffeeshop is better.
