i dont have much more to add except that i worry a lot as well but i always felt comfortable and safe in the Dam, so dont worry ive smoked on canal benches and never had a problem but i was quite discreet and it was the dead of winter. c/s are always the best place. have fun man, peace.

i smoked with and infront of many cops in ma day dont worry follow the rules and good luck will sure to follow dont buy more than u can carry and take it easy amsterdam is the shit u dont wont to find ur self falling over a railing into the singel like muah just cuz u wanted to get as baked as possible on ur first or second day. just go wit the flow, n follow the rules then shuld be abosoulutly no probs

Man, there are and will be a whole lotta people in a worse state than you around Amsterdam. Dont worry about it. Ive sat in a coffeeshop on my own for a few hours drinking beer and smoking weed. I looked fucking terrible, i was totally wankered. The point is that NO ONE cared or gave a shit. Just go with the flow, if you wanna laugh like a baboon, then do it.

As someone who suffers from 'worry' (panic attacks, etc) I usually have a bit of a 'panic' on the first evening in 'dam but it soon passes. First time there it was a bit scary, just how many people there are around mixed with being really high but it doesn't take a long to settle into the spirit of things.

I usually feel REALLY safe in coffee shops though (most anyway - Siberie, Rokerij, Abraxas, Barneys, Baba, they all feel like safe environments to relax in). It's just on the streets I get to feel a bit uptight so I generally make sure I have a plan when I leave one CS for another, try not to get lost when the sun goes down. As long as you keep your head down and down make a scene I can't see anything going wrong. Ignore beggars/street dealers completely and they'll generally ignore you.

You'll have a fantastic time and once you 'settle in' you really won't want to leave.

some one stay was cool smoking in vondel park well last time there i when to park about 5-6 time and it seem to me i was the only one smoking drugs was kinna weird lighing up and all of kids was there
