vaporgenie technique

Post by numbers »

Recently got a vaporgenie (exotic) and have only just had a chance to try it now. I've been lookin for handheld vapo for a while and their seems to be consensus that vg is the way to go. Anyway, quick rookie question for any other vg users:

The blurb says to hold a bic lighter to the filter and inhale: "It is normal to exhale slightly visible vapor or mist... If you inhale smoke then the temp is too high".

Now, I can't see this 'visible vapor or mist' - if I overdo it I get smoke (bad) and anything less and I can't see a thing. I've got a good high going but is that just from where I overcooked and effectively smoked it, or was it working it's magic before when I saw no mist or vapor? guess i'll work it out after a few more cracks at it -just wondering if there is an ideal technique? i.e. inhale speed, size of flame, optimum hits per bowl?

Yes, that would be the ideal situation but price and gf issues come into play :| one day for sure! In the mean time though im gonna try and get to grips with the vg - i've gotta say it's way easier on the lungs and a markedly less drowsy high, was just wondering if anyone else had any tips. I'm finding if you go slow it's pretty smooth 8)
