Dublin Calling...

Post by Hoop66 »

Hello hello

Long time reader, first time poster.

Spent a lot of time in AMS when I was a student in the 80's - used to get the Friday night ferry from Hull. Then, for one reason or another, I wasn't able to get there for many years. :(

A couple of years ago I started a new job, and lo and behold I had to travel to AMS every other week :D The trouble with that is, if you have to be in meetings from 8am every day your nightlife options are a bit curtailed. So I wasn't able to fully appreciate all of the delights of my favourite city.

Now, finally, I've managed to find the time for a wee trip - 12th-14th October. No wife, no kids, no meetings! Just me and a couple of mates, staying at the Greenhouse Effect.

Welcome aboard! Have a great "proper" trip.

Any photos from the 80's trips?
