i've read somewhere of a method of cleaning hash by melting it in hot water and pouring the water through a paper towel to collect clean brown hash that is not polluted.
can any1 direct me to the thread or maybe tell me how hot the water should be? should the water be boiling to really melt the hash or just like 70 degrees to make sure u dont over cook it?

Better yet, don't buy dirty hash. I'll take a dirty martini over dirty hash any day.

thing is, this hash is pretty good compared to israel standards. and pretty clean. it burns nicely and gives out a white blue smoke. but as is the case with hash, u can never really be 100% sure unless u r in Adam. so i want to do it just to be on the safe side.

just finished cleaning my hash. lost a big amount of it.
it seemed like i got pretty good stuff. the first time i did it the water was light green, unlike stuff i read online that people had brown- black water come out of it. after the third time the water was clear. i made a cube out of it and it seemed i lost 1/3 of it. the process was pretty odor-less. i read that it is supposed to stink your kitchen, but all i got was a slight smell of hash over the working area. again, this could be because my hash was already not bad. maybe if it was more polluted it would have stunk more. all in all im satisfied with the results. im going to smoke it tonight with a friend to see if it was worth it.

Even in Amsterdam you have to look carefully, avoid zero-zero from bluebird.
