Hi everyone!

I,m coming from Slovenia and I,ve been in Amsterdam twice so far. First 6 years ago, it was in april and secondly, the last summer (august). Both times was great. I have some questions for my next visit and I would appreciate for any help

OK, now I,m planning to go to Am`dam with the couple of my friends in november! More accurately, from 28.11 to 3.12. Probably we will stay at Winston in Warmoess. Last time I was there and it was very nice. Friendly staff, clean rooms and the location is just awesome.

1.So, I would like to know how is Amsterdam in that time of year? I,ve read that is quite windy and wet, but this does not bother me much.
What about people, tourists? I know it,s not the season time, so I wouldn,t like to enter the "blank, hollow" city:-( Is it possible for something like that?
What about clubs, redlight district, coffeshops, museums...? Are those things all open?
2. We are coming with car. It,s quite long distance (over 1200 km :O) Where is the best place to leave the car for 5 days?(price, location, safety) The center is very expensive, so for the 5,6 eur per day, Amsterdam Arena was first opinion, but you can leave the car for most of 4 days there, in other places I think is 3 days max. I need for 5:( Can you go and replace the ticket after 4 days? I presume there are all metro or bus stations near parking places that you can easily reach Dam?

Everything will be open for business. Amsterdam is a year around city.

As to what to do with a car, I have no idea. My preferred method of transportation in Amsterdam is a rented or borrowed bike.

There is parking out the front of the Botel(hotel), ticket machine which you can place a ticket in your window, i left my works van there for 5days,had to replace it every day mind you, but it was safe,
bit of a long drive though from uk through france n belgium in to the dam, but well worth it spell of the moment trip.

WET yes it can be! cold windy?NAH -10 min 0 max! if you call that cold you wouldnt wanna come to canada and live thru are winters at -30 -40 !

ok! for best place for parking youll have to take FERRY near trainstation on other side you can park for FREE!! but you mite have to move car evry other day! i know an italien guys who been parking up there for about 18months now! he moves car once a week! or if you dont mind taking train/subway/metro! you can park in amstelven or at stadium if you dont mind paying 7-8euro a day!

from NOVEMBER 23-27 it the cannabis cup and your getting there on the day after so most tourist will be done but you still have the hardcore smokers wishing its wasnt over! about smoke well dont wait on smoking what they was smoking during the cup mite be all gone!!

I think they are pulling your leg, their will lots of good stuff in November!

what i mean is that what will be at CC you mite not find the top 3 winners of the cup it can be SOLD out!

my friend showed up 3 day after the 20th cc last years and barneys was out of the G-13 haze G.A didnt have any chocoloope! took few days after they got there b4 they got some!!!
