Welcome to the forum.
When you come up with dates, get them to me and I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.
Here is a little reading to help you acclimate to Amsterdam.
How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam
Enjoy

Best Amsterdam site there is. Buy a good map, a copy of Joe Pauker's Cool Guide, and copy key maps from this site, and you don't need Frommer's or Fodor's or any of those other glorified museum and restaurant guides.
