I know this maybe a sad thought but I think regardless of who gets elected it's going to be business as usual in Washington. America is still going to be a capitalist imperialist country that uses it's military to get it's way.

I do hope that both parties can agree on and support states rights. This will at least give the people some ability to govern themselves is some manner rather than be dictated to by an overlord so to speak.

With states rights the people will be free to legalize marijuana with a majority vote. Perhaps California will be the 1st state. As other states see how well things worked in California, the people there will go legal then perhaps some other countries will follow.

You really haven't read up on this election, or your blind ignorance has meant you'd rather assume. barackobama.com/issues . The man advocates military action only where nessacary and in defence of his country. Secondly he wants change to the beaurocratic nonsense and utter corruption of Washington. Read his policies, the man has more substance to what many think.

Capitalism is everywhere, you can't blame any president for that.

That's the key phrase, and the one that frightens me the most. He's a little too cozy with Israel for me, but at least he has taken steps to talk with Iran. I don't think he's all that and a bag of chips, but McCain scares me.

Well diddy it would be nice if Obama could really make major change but I think not.

About this: "... advocates military action only where nessacary and in defence of his country." This is not change. In fact in sounds like something George Bush would say errors included.

Well it was anounced 2day that Obama is the favoured choice for the BRITISH PM Gordon Brown.

You unlucky people!

If Gordon Brown prefers Obama your in big trouble people.

And for those who dont know Gordon Brown well let me shed some light. This piss poor PM in such a short time has destroyed the UK with his poor decisions including the re-classification of our beloved BUD! :x
Lets hope for the sake of the US ,Obama sees our PM as the muppet he is and shuns him proper.
