Right, I'm prepping for my next trip to the Dam next week Friday and one of the strains a friend has been going on about is Mr Nice.

Has anyone any recollection of whether this was nice,what coffeeshop you bought from?
I'm compiling a list right now so as to save time and money when I'm out there, if its not worth it I will give it a miss cos the list is growing out of control!!

I take it you mean Mr Nice strains?

If so Katsu have Black widow which might be the Mr nice version but i am not 100% sure apart from that i have not seen anymore whilst on my travels.
Katsu also have a few Soma strains which are excellent.

Cheese is right on the genetics. I'm pretty sure the HP-13 at Amnesia was the same thing, by a different name, when I got it there in '06. Very stony.

I just read Mr. Nice, by the way. Interesting read, even if a bit vitriolic and self-serving (hey, Howard, it isn't draconian drug law that gotcha, it was importing tons upon tons upon tons of cannabis...law enforcement going after conspiratorial friends and family to make the real ringleader relent is how things work everywhere, no one innocent got nicked, you were the guiltiest of the bunch, and got out after 7 1/2 years of a 25-year sentence...I think it's great that you were such an effective smuggler but disingenuous that you are so effectively smug.)

Oh, and I'm always suspicious about facts and research when someone can't spell Muhammad Ali's name correctly, and asserts that Maastricht is close to Utrecht.

my last trip i got speakin to the owner. Its a hydro version, not really to my liking but u cant complain! was VERY nice smoke, missus fav!

i love researching a list of smokes and shops before each trip, i usually manage to get to try a couple of the strains i want, but end up getting stoned (suprisingly) and get side tracked well away form my inteded list. all good though ha ha.

im interested to know whats made your list so far, please share....

Super Silver Haze ( Greenhouse haarlemstraat's one- as recommended by soulrider & davide)

Laughing Budda - Rokerij ( though barneys,amnesia and dampkring have this which is highest??)

If you have any others you would recommend please do!!

Also can anyone shed any light on difference in potency/smoke between nyc diesel and sour diesel?? I had the NYC on my last trip and remember it had a very distinct smell& taste that I would recognise anywhere! But what about the Sour??

i would recommend getting the SSH from MY instead of greenhouse. only 10 euro/ gram and the quality is endless. best smoke of my trip. also i would recommend getting the amnesia haze at the soft temple CS. i think it cost me 12.5 euro/ gram but it was really good.

Just looked on the map and its more South Holland. Not sure if I'd be willing to venture too far out. Any idea how long it would take to get from Amsterdam to Leiden?
