i think i know why it a big name in the hashish word! in the late 60-70 was Mr nice and he friend was importing it all over europe and america!
my dad (who 60 years young) and friend talked about this hash how good it was and BLAH BLAH.. about buzz tast and smell of it!
was even told that temple balls and kashmir will never get you has buzzed!
well to theyre suprize a few year ago i got pkg from Jamaica (jamaica GUM) jamaican hash! smoke .1 in hotkniffs all of them stop talking and moving was like the sound of silence 10-15 min after theyre hit one of them sayed fuck ive never been this high!
you ask any of them today all 55-65yy whats the best hash you ever smoked? they ll reply GUM!

so to me sound like over rated hash BUT i love all type of hash like this year i got this 4e hash from Kashmir lounge was called ++afgan got 5g
i didnt even get head rush but love the tast smoke some wit an afgan guy he took one toke got up screamed in afgan and trou a chunck of morracan to me

and sayed no hash is made in afgan since 1989! your smoking paki hash my friend nothing worst then paki hash!!

i was OK old man whatev! a total freak out on me :S

i too read about the NTB and about STIX and I went there last year NOV and after 30 mins of freezing walk around, i found the store and bought a 7g slab with a crescent moon shaped , forgot abt trhe price but i'd tell it's crap... and doesnt do anything except a headcahe from the tobacco mixture when i roll it in a spliff.

I will give a try again, this time, I'll get 1 g and smoke it right there before any further purchase though.

I've just come back from Dam and actually have about .6g sitting at home ( amongst Afghan, Maroccon,Shibani Polm & Malika Halua) and to be honest I'm not convinced. I purchased from Stix as recommended by everyone on here. Not only was the budtender rude and obnoxious. But I dunno, I like the spicy taste but the stone just didnt knock me like I thought it would.

My fave hash of my batch I brought home is definately the Shibani!Its a nice sticky black rifman hash I got from Dampkring and boy is it a good smoke! Thats followed closey by the Malika Halua from Rokerij. So unfortunately in my book the NTB from Stix is somewhat average guys.

i think its always hit and miss with stix!

the last visit had some nice stuff, but the 2 times b4 were crap!!

off over in 27days n countin!

might give this long walk a miss if its not that good!

yeah, murphyscafe is bang on. I remember my first visit and the Gunpowder was green. Like it had been way over sifted (anyone who's smokes dry sift trich's knows they should be a golden sandy colour. The dealer admited it was new in that day and he hadnt tried it so I didnt buy any.

Ive heard many votes for Stix NTB in the past, but i always have made the trip to Harleem for mine. Willie Wortels can always be depended on for qualitly hash and buds.

Search on my friend, both the Temple Ball and the Kash Marroc are now only memories. Theire hash line up is no better then anywhere anymore.

Whats their bud menu looking like? Is is still up to the old standard?

Since Nol moved to Spain the purchasing is done by non-smokers now. I hate to say it but same as the hash, the quality is just not what it was. I will say the menu does change often and there is always a chance of some better weed or hash. Because they sell to mostly locals they cannot sell tainted or really crap weed of course.

Jesus that sucks man. Even with a variety of menu changes i'd still love to see the menu of old. Im guna have to make a trip to see if its still the same shop i used to love.

Does Nol know about the quality dropping? I guess his interest's in spain are pretty time consuming though so you cant really say a word against it. Is that the local view that Wortels is not what it used to be,if it is where they heading to now in Harleem?

Milehigh, that seems strange?

Nol is smart guy, why would he leave his shops in the hands of folks who don't know their product? Also, he had quite a few people working for him. I would imagine some of them would be reasonably knowledgable about their smoke, no?

I didn't say that. There is still plenty of nice smoke on the menu. Some of the one of kinds and exclusives are gone is all. The Amnesia Haze was very nice yesterday. The Willies Choice is popular. Go smoke, get high.
