Walking time from Dam Square to Mellow Yellow?

Post by Dave J »

I've had a look at the map and certainly want to try Mellow Yellow as 1 of my top 5 never visited coffeeshops this november. But I've got the location of where I thought it was untill today completly wrong.

But as I prefer walking does anyone know the approx distance or walking time from Dam Square to Mellow Yellow?.

15-20 minutes, depending on your walking pace

Closer to 20 than 10, my mrs walks fast as hell and I think she'd struggle to do it in 10 mins.

yeh m8 20 mins!
Get a tram to Rembrandtplein then have a walk from there. You could pop in to Barneys Lounge on the way. Expensive but worth a visit. plus its a pleasent walk that way if you like walking. :D

I love cycling around Amsterdam, my wife thinks I'm mad because I get stoned out of my face and just go for it, I've nearly been hit by a motorbike, a bus and several other bikes.

haha, i remember the first time we tried to get there....it took us about 1 1/2 hours because I was holding the map and was too stoned to navigate :D
after you realise how easy it is to get there its no problem :D

another story about traffic in Adam. This summer we were there camping at Gaasperplas and one day we headed into the city with my car, me driving. we wanted to park near homegrown fantaseeds so we had to drive through the DAM.....man I tell you, I am a good driver and I usually stay calm when something like this happens, but when I tried to drive over the big place suddenly 10000000 people started to walk over the street and we 4 were like "WOHOOOOOOOOOOO".......what did we learn from this? never drive stoned through the DAM after a spliff from mellow yellow finest weed :)
