There was a rumour some time back that Coffeeshop/Hotel Utopia was for sale, I doubt you have to be Dutch to buy one (Grey Area & Barneys are examples of that) but it's the actual transfer of the license that I believe would now be the problem.

intresting Boner, but it may be possible if heavily investigated.
We could open an ACD shop with Lemmings permission.

Here it is..
It was a long time back in issue 4 2006 of soft secrets (page 87).
It reads..
Low Budget Hotel Utopia FOR SALE, N.Z Voorburgwal 132, Amsterdam.
Unique opurtunity.. Bed and Breakfast, Fully legal Coffeeshop now on sale.
Very rare combination. For further Info call 0031648225667.

This is exactly how the advert is written.
Probably sold now but it could be possible to do.

This should be that issue.

Might be worth going to see the guys at Homegrown Fantasy, heard they were closing down next year due to the owner of the building not wanting a coffeeshop in his building, the Nes cafe had to give their license up as well recently so I'd go and see them and see what happened to that as I'm pretty sure the city council wont issue any new licenses.

Stenman -- best of luck to you in this endeavor. I will certainly patronize your establishment.

I see you having a difficulty with this because of the so-called "extinction" policy. In addition to preventing a permanently closed shop from ever re-opening, I would imagine that the government would prevent a license from being transferred. However, I'm not an expert in this matter.

I would go to the Bond van Cannabis Detaillisten web site and see what I could find out.

Thanks everyone, i am deadly serious about this, and appreciate all the feedback from you all, will visit the shops mentioned in October and see.
I think my friend Tony from SagramathaSeeds will be able to shed more light on this matter.

The licence as many have said could be a problem obtaining as i to think the council will not give out anymore, i will keep checking.
