Nothing on while im there either, but if you did want to go to the dam for a specific event.....I'd say Queens day would be the one to go for, the city is one big party, dj's on the streets, free live music stages, loads of people cruising on their boats with tunes blasting and the boat loaded with beer, street markets, etc etc.
