Things to take to the Dam

Post by Boris »

Well, I’m sitting here counting the hours now until I’m off to the Dam again (I make it 39Hrs). Whilst waiting I thought I’d put together a list of things to take, so far I’ve got:

Passport
Tickets
Money
Bacy
Toothbrush
Clothes (Various)
The Missus (best not forget her)

Has anybody got any other suggestions of things to take that would make life complete in Amsterdam? Every time I go, I always say to myself ‘I wish I’d brought that with me’ but I always forget next time round.

Cheers
Boris

I can whole heartedly recommed the tubs of texas red cigarette tobacco. Get it from the shop next to Central Coffeeshop. €9.95 for 200 cigarette's worth of tobbacco. Last's me in Amsterdam and about 2 months after.

Have a great trip :)

Texas red! Thats funny. Rain jacket, grinder and a frisbee. Even if you don't get to play, it's really easy to roll a joint on a frisbee when you're in the park.

The copies are very important. Forgot that one. It also helps to give copies to your family or a friend in case you need emergency. It will help you get out of the country should you lose your passport or if you need money wire to you.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, that really helps, especially the copy of the pasports idea. I've scanned mine and hers into a .jpg and emailed to myself.
I bought her indoors one of those tiny little laptops for her birthday, I think you call them a Netbook, anyway it only 7" wide and fits nicely into any reasonable size handbag or manbag for the matter.
Hopefully will be able to give you all an update whilst out there.

14Hrs and counting!!!
