I would like to take some photos of my buy's to send to my bro to hopefully tease him into coming back with me in the new year......what are the policies on taking photos i mean do they allow it or not or should i just take them in my room also a video diary would be nice whats the score with that

as with a lot in amsterdam this all depends on the coffeeshop, some will happily let you take photos and even encourage it whereas some will forown upon it. The best thing to do is to ask if you're unsure and be careful about capturing other people in your shot, some people can get quite upset when they're photographed toking a joint for some reason!
