I think it's just pot luck(hehe) with the music they are playing m8 but i was wondering the same thing i have an mp3 player full of my tunes(Marley,Floyd,AC/DC,Maiden,HtiD events and the musical version of War of the Worlds)but don't find it very polite to be sitting there with headphones in ears in a social place.was wondering if any C.S's will play punter's cd's if their not busy

Try one of the coffeeshops down Warmoesstraat for rap or techno.

Toker, plenty of coffeeshops will put cd's on just ask, make a copy and offer to leave it there as well.

I am slow a typing so by the time i had finished it had already been said.

You will find loads of music to your taste i personally dont pay much attention to the music in CSs as i am more interested in getting wasted and watching the TV. I do use my MP3 alot whilst moving between CSs.
You should be okay getting your cds played. But word of warning i have seen a CD launched across the CS coz the Bloke at the counter did not like it.
Cant remember the shop at the moment but it will come 2 me.

Blank discs in the tray cheers for the info

Not too worried about discs being used as frizbees as long as they don't hit me

And OFC they'll be left there;music like weed is meant for sharing
