Best place for a cheap filler?
Best place for a cheap filler?
Hi, does anyone have any ideas where the best place is to find cheap strains, like Thai, Jamican columbian etc. I only want to use them as a substitute for tobacco as I'm not too keen on the herbal substitutes. I seem to remember seeing Thai at something like 2eur a gram a couple of years ago but cant remember for the life of me where!
Anyday do a Mexican 5 grams for €12.30 http://www.black-arts.org/~reatta/Menus ... spliff.jpg

Sanementereng has a great variety of cheap import weeds, African, Thai, and Jamaican. The also have some cheap Dutch outdoor/green house grown weed too... This is the way I have always smoked spliffis in Amsterdam. I can remember when most c/s in Amsterdam had at least one of these imports on their menus, they are getting harder and harder to find...

I think they mean as a filler instead of tobacco... Tobacco is the best thing to deaden the taste of anything! A pure blunt of your fav strain is ideal, but not practical if you want to start smoking in the morning and still be awake by mid-day... A good import weed does the trick nicely. I love to smoke big fat pure joints of this kinda stuff all day long and save the heavy strains for my evenings.sh@dy wrote:can anyone of you who tried this filling with cheap weed thing.....doesnt it change the taste so you dont taste much of the actual strain you are smoking? I always wanted to try it, but I was afraid the taste of the nice hazes I bought wouldnt be there when filled with other weed

Dont know i agree with that. The flavours given to blunts often effect taste.happydaze777 wrote: A pure blunt of your fav strain is ideal,
The best way to taste the weed you bought is through a new clean glass pipe. Again not always practical. Im quite a big bong user but dont usually go for that in amsterdam, i just roll with tobacco ( as long as its a tobacco smoking place/they dont mind tobacco being smoked.) Its not like you use alot of tobacco anyway ( well you shouldnt be using alot of tobacco.) A mix of 80/90% weed 20/10% tobacco dont really effect the taste.
Now days in 'Dam i think i will pick up at my faveourite spots but find a good tobacco friendly place to smoke in, Pink Floyds looking like the most likey.
i say just try smoking pure.. really much nicer.
however if i had to choose to mix.. i would also prefer maybe 10%-20% thai herb instead of tobacco...
really if it thats small of an amount of mix, then it really wont affect the strong taste of the more powerful or tasty stuff... i would think doing it with thai or mexican or something of the like would be much better than using the weird herbal mixes they are offering as a substitute right now..

Using 10% thai weed should change the taste more than thz 10% baccy. Any weed will taste and smell stronger than baccy, especially if you go with a light brand...cheese wrote:i say just try smoking pure.. really much nicer.

Maybe because i'm used to smoking cigs too though (3-4/day.... can't smoke a J after lunch in the office or at school!) and thai weed in france does smell and taste really strong...

If a slight fleck of tobacco would effect the taste then what about the tobacco the cigar wraps made out off? Always wondered that.happydaze777 wrote:I don't mean the American kind of hollowed out cigar blunt, just a big phat pure spliff of awesome bud... The flavour is unadulterated! As a non smoker even the slightest 'fleck' of tobacco completely dominates the taste (and smell for that matter) of a spliff for me...
As i said im a fully proud bong user, but always feel awkward smoking it in 'dam. I always mix some tobacco in my joints, guess thats just the english wayl
Thanks for your help everyone, Admittedly normally I mix with a small amount fo tobacco and when I'm in Amsterdam I usually frequent tobacco friendly coffeeshops, but as I'm going to be living out there, at least for a while, from Tuesday I am guessing some of the more local coffeeshops to where I will be staying (Beverwijk) probably haven't got Tobacco areas and obviously at the moment I'm not sure of the policies, so I was thinking of using a cheap import weed to replace the baccy and bulk out the joint so that I'm not stuck out in the cold and although I will often choose to smoke pure high grade weed, its not always practical unfortunately.
