Who here is living in Paris or in France?

Hey guys! Looking for ACDers living in paris and even the rest of france. Maybe this is the wrong section for this? But wanted larger visibility so i'm posting here.
Reasons are multiple:
Firts, we really, really, lack a community such as ACD. Yes, ACD, Channels,.... are international, but most french people dont speak and understand english (yeah, it is sad......). The only one that exists is cannaweed and it's mainly for growing. Otherwise, regarding legalisation, amsterdam, traveling.... it really sucks big time! And try getting french dudes to join a site 100% in english! It's really a shame because France is the European country with the highest proportion of marijuana smoker! Incredible huh? So we should really be doing something about the situation in our country. Also, with Holland just a few hours drive away, many many french tourists are wandering the city, everyday, without a clue where to get the good stufff. Most come back complaining the gear was barely better than in france for more cash... This can't go on, and i want to help them!!
Second, and maybe more pleasurable, we can easily organise weekend group trips for sooo cheap (possible to have 2 nights hotel + round trip for under 100€/person for large groups).
A bon entendant!
Thanks for reading!

I do and 100% agree. I used to live in Paris for 30 years, now I live in south France, but coming to Paris almost every month, not to mention it's hard to resist to go to A'Dam each time!

Maybe! Thats why i started this post, to see if there's enough french other there making it worth it to have our section... Not expecting too much though... Posting the same thing on the french board i mentioned. will see if there's any positive energy around this.
Thanks for your support guys!

Dont you think this is going to segregate the french people from the rest of us?
fair enough i dont speak, french or any other foreign language but i have seen it spoken on here and people have translated for us english only people.
and some1 also put a link up for babelfish which can help alot.
http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translate_txt
So i think we all should share the site and overcome the language barriers.
After all its love for the weed and amsterdam why we use the site.
Merci

I like French cooking and snowboarding. I'd move to France before I'd move to the Netherlands.

Hey guys, i completely understand, and this does not meet seperation from ACD!!! I'd never even dream of it!!!!
On the contrary!!!
It's to share all this knowldge us ACDer's have and share with the french. France is THE biggest pot smoking country in europe!!! However, it's mainly English people or americans on this board (no problems AT ALL with that, i am half american myself).
But because of the language, they don't understand most of what's going on here and can't share their precious experiences.
However, there are soooooo many smokers in france, and because of the language barrier, we can't really share our experiences.
And i think that the french should have access to this sort of information (which they don't) and i'm sure they're feedback would me most interesting. Especially regarding hash (see my various comments or trip reports to see what i mean...).
Guys, I wish all french could speak as good english as the dutch or germans, but its unfortunately not the case.
Also, i'm alot into activism and legalization and can only act on a national level, thus would like to have an idea on how many french men (and women!) were actually active on line.

The thing is, they ARE segregated already!!! It's no ones fault but france.
What i'm saying is, it's not because they can't participate on ACD or channels (because they don't understand too well, or can't express themselves well in english) that they shouldn't have access to the same info, and share the same info.....
Anyways, how many french replied to this???
2!
I really don't want people thinking i'm trying to get another thing going on cause i ove this place!!!
If you saw my couple comments in the lagalisation section, you'd see i'm jealous of the organisation you guys have in the uk (green day) or in the us.
We can't get this done here in france because there is no where for us to gather and discuss.
I'm lucky i'm multicural and am fluent in english. But most french aren't (how many languages do most people here speak fluently anyways?).
So please don't misintrepret this thread as i'm still new on ACD, i love being here, and hope things stay this way for a long time. I really do love this community, and it's the fact that i love this community that pushes me to write such a thread. Most french people would love to be able to share and understand everything that goes on on a forum like ACD, BUT THEY CAN'T.
Thats it guys! ACD is No1, but we should try and give other cultures that don't understand english the access to this type of info and be able to get their feedback too. This will just further help spread the.....everything (love, knowledge, acceptance, tolerance.....) around the world.

Looool!
Stupid french education system, not putting enough effort in teaching the universal tongue......
I thinks it's also due to t.V: in france EVERYTHING is dubbed! Whereas in germanic countries, this is not the case.....

Dont worry.
They put even less over here into our own language let alone learning a foreign language. I have had both French and German language lessons at school (Many years ago) and i know neither.
My point is just that it is better to overcome any barriers in our way and unite as one. If that means using a website to understand a post then we will do it no problem.
Too much war due to the lack of understanding between people from different countries so lets stick together on this site.
Get your friends and countrymen/women to join and post it can only benefit us all in the long run.
Soz to babel on its this dam volcano blowing my mind AGAIN
Enjoy
