I've seen some good links to smoking apartments and houseboats in A'dam, in some of the threads here and also on the ACD homepage a couple good-looking outfits. It's good to know that GHE will still let you smoke & toke, which I had kind of expected. It looks like GHE or an apartment for me next summer.

But we also want to do 3 or 4 nights in Haarlem, would appreciate any leads.

The only 'apartments' I've stopped in Haarlem were with these guys: http://www.haarlem-hotelsuites.nl/ they didn't have any no smoking signs up or anything and the cleaner used to put all my baggies nice and neat on the table so I just guessed it was ok to toke.

The other option is the rooms above the Sativa coffeeshop http://www.wwwshop.nl/cannabisshops/sat ... ativa.html but I'm not sure exactly whats happening with those now, might be worth dropping milehigh a message regarding those.

how about rembrandt square hotel just above smokey? I stumbled upon some reviews which said, that although officially smoking was not allowed, they would allow guests to smoke in the room, maybe if they had the window open or somethin...

whe i went dam, i smoked in the bathroom, with a towel by the door and the window open. when you have done, turn the shower on and steam the bathroom, this kills the smell. also there are usally no smoke detectors in the bathroom. Apparently the owner said if i paid an extra 20 Euros a night he would let me smoke in my room (yer right!).
