When you went and weighed it did he take the package of you or did you then take it and post it your self ....? I mean these people must be very suspicious of Brits and Yanks posting packages :P
I always use the post office and dont even think about it, I'd imagine a lot of them think its porn anyway.

As I read thru all the threads about posting stuff home, it seems as if only the brits have done it. My inquiry is any one from the U.S. had luck in sending shipments home?

I doubt it'd work, the US are one of the few countries to still train dogs to smell the 'erb

I've read about a few Americans who have done it, they usually just send a small amount of hash flattened out and stuck inside a greeting card.

I've had 100% success from the one at the Nieuwmarkt‎, about 80% success rate from the one on Spui and 100% from Haarlem (although the Haarlem one took about 6 weeks???).

The original poster lives in the Uk, by law we aren't responsible what comes through the mail so there's no risk.

But if they catch it, fingerprint it, and come get you before its arrived at your door, then do they not have enough evidence? I'm not a lawyer...

In the UK you are not responsible by law for what you receive in the post and seeing that it was posted in a foreign country I doubt they could do you for sending it either.

But suppose they find your fingerprints all over it, posted from the NL, whilst they could see that you'd left the country. Is that not enough evidence?

They wouldn't fingerprint the letter for starters but like I said you are only responsible for what you post within the UK, I imagine it would be a differant story if it was something like anthrax though.
