Meet & Greet - Tuesday Oct 21st - De Kuil @ 2pm

Ok folks - here's the plan!

Tuesday Oct 21st 2pm @ De Kuil (Cafe 420).

As there are going to be a few ACD members in town, our "social director" FlyByNite, has made the suggestion of a meet & greet!

So here's the open invitation to anyone who fancies a smoke session of mammoth proportions (ok - it's only me that's the mammoth...).... and of course, to put some faces to the names and handles on here!

Kroikey and his friend will be there, along with skilth/karlos and friends, and myself of course! Anyone in the area is more than welcome to come along and have a laugh and a toke...

Having never been to a "meet & greet" before, I'm not exactly sure how people are supposed to recognise the others, and I don't want to look daft by printing off a page from the forum, attaching it to a makeshift sign and sticking it on the big table at the back, as if a conference is about to take place, as this smacks too much of organisation - a concept I have little truck with normally!

With this in mind, I am throwing caution to the wind and will ensure that everyone at least knows who I am!

I'm the ugly S.O.B. on the left hand side of the picture (the white guy) and just to make things even easier, I shall wear the same t-shirt (proudly, as I always do!)...

Hopefully, that should do the trick! I may even be wearing the shades, depending on how bad my eyes are by that stage!!!

All are welcome... let me know on here if you fancy coming, so I can at least warn the lovely folks at De Kuil that they will be over-run by ACD-ers on a mission!

3rd time in Amsterdam, 1st for my mate. Ill be wearing a cream hat with our leafy friend on the front. Not sure how large a session I can participate in, (uk shite pot=stoned fast in the dam), we have to get on a plane at 10pm

Hopefully see you guys there. We'll probably be in earlier than 2pm unless we have something to take care of. See you guys there.

Depending on munchie attacks, I may very well be there early meself.

I've actually lost track of how many times I've been to Amsterdam now... First trip, if memory serves, was nearly 20yrs ago! Some things have changed, but the vibe is always the same there...

I can't claim to have a vast knowledge of the all the coffeeshops, mainly because I'm a creature of habit these days, and therefore tend to frequent the places I know and love, but I'm more than happy to recommend places I know to anyone who's either there for the first time or hasn't ventured out from the centrum.

Should be fun!

Damn, hate being back in UK. It was a good smoke for sure Gapie. I'd have smoked more but I was already baked from earlier, and I was fighting a panic attack after those crazy assed joints.

I dunno whether it was that dodgy UK sprayed weed that I'd smoked early last year, or the cocaine addiction I got rid of recently, but I've got a condition where my rib cage gets enflamed. It gives me weird watery feelings or sometimes sharp chest pains. This then sets off panic attacks where my body goes numb and my breathing gets erratic. Worrying about a heart attack does that to you. Its not brilliant, and I'd kept it at bay despite all the pure J's and even the mushroom tea lol. I guess 3 days smoking mostly pure J's was too much for it by the time I got to Tuesday afternoon.

It was good meeting you and Dave though, I'll write up a trip report before next week.

when yer back chill out with the shit and smoke lesser and enjoy it more
