Hi there,
If you're going as a family with kids, they'd prob enjoy TunFun, near Waterlooplein. Its a good use of underground space for kids where they can run around etc. The Zoo is nearby and Het Ballonnetje is nearby, good coffeeshop, theres also the Resistance, Tropics & Jewish Museums nearby. Id avoid the Greenhouse coffeeshop there, quite imposing with secured turnstile entrance & moody staff. NEMO is quite good for the kids, science stuff thats interactive.
Have a great trip
