Tobacco replacement

Post by ynwa »

Can anyone recommend something to mix weed with. For a few reasons im trying to stop smoking tobacco. Pure weed joints are too expensive and a little heavy!

I did try something in the dam a few months back called Dutch Spirit. Doesnt claim to have any effects of weed like some of the other mixes about, just a healthier alternative. I found it quite pleasant to smoke and tried to get some. However Dutch customs decided to tax it as a tobacco product and so the company withdrew it.

I often use Coltsfoot to mix with weed or as a tobacco substitute for a hash spliff. You can get it from most natural health stores, and its supposed to be good for healing the lungs...

When was that? A few weeks ago I got it from the Rokerij Shops. How can something be a tobacco product, when there is no tobacco in it?

At the Rookies I got a substitution called Shazter, which is in fact the same as Dutch Spirit.

Thanks for the replies i must have a look into both those.

The dutch spirit site went down a few months ago and only displayed an email address. So i emailed them and thats what they told me, that Customs were trying to tax it as a tobacco product.

They did email me last week to say it was for sale again with a slightly higher price to pay for taxes or lawyer fees as they were still fighting the case. But to buy it from them you had to do an international bank transfer (or just a normal bank transfer if you are in the NL) but to expensive from UK. Havent been able to find anyone else online who sells it.

Very weird. But as long as they don't get the idea to prhibit smoking it in coffeeshops everythings fine.

That tobacco replacement was the best idea for non-cigarette smokers like me.
