Chasm City by Alastair Reynolds. one of the best sci-fi book i've read for years. Recommended to anyone, it's mind-boggling, fucking insane, and cool as hell. i think you can read it here

I am reading LIFE by Keith Richards and enjoying it quite a bit. As I am reading it, its fun to learn Stones songs as they progress from early to late Stones in the book. This is a book I suspect fans of rock and/or drugs would appreciate.

Recently read EARTH: The Book by Jon Stewart and the crew of the Daily Show ... if your hip to Global Climate Change and enjoy satire you will like this book.

I am about halfway through Hope on a Tightrope by Cornel West, very interesting non-mainstream perspectives but I was somewhat surprised that Mr. West's gentle and loving persona did not seem to carry over into his writing.

The pocket book which accompanies me everywhere is The Tao Te Ching by the great Lao Tzu, a book I would recommend to EVERYONE

Just finished "LSD : My Problem Child" by Albert Hofmann. Fantastic read. The guy should have won the Nobel Prize many times over. Last week I finished "The Emperor Wears No Clothes" by Jack Herer. Also a great read. Some very interesting and valid points made about the legal status of MaryJane. I recommend them both highly. I rather enjoy my drug literature.

I don't know how to feel as I post this. You see, I firmly believe in books. The physical form, turning pages, the blurb, reading at yer own pace, getting completely engrossed in the pages.....
...yesterday, I downloaded an Audio Book for my I-pod  But that ain't the most embarrassing part....I actually enjoyed it
