First off sorry for the late post ppl, lost my notebook when i got back and only found it today..yesterday...oh i cant remeber!!!
Anyways! my missus was kind enough to book us a trip for the weekend of my big 30!
Day 1
I'm not gonna bore use with the getting to Central Station as it was trouble free all the way from london!
we arrived at about 10 in the morning and headed straight to the meeting point for the apartment Bar pimpelmee on Warmoesstraat to drop off our bags as they were holding them untill 3pm for the checkin! From there we headed for our first port of call the 420, we always go here first as the missus loves the SSH and i like there Nev's Hze A gram of the SSH for the missus, the Nev's didnt look all that and the nice budtender advised it was an old batch and a fresh one was in the next day! just in time for my birthday!!!! He advises that there NYCD is a good crop so i grab a gram of that! We order some drinks and sit opposite the bar, even thou u guys have advised on were its ok to smoke, we still felt like we needed to ask b4 mixing the tobacco into the j's! but just as i was approaching the bud counter to ask the fella, he stood up and lit a ciggie!!! i asked if it as all ok to mix n he said, i quote " we dont care!!!"
The SSH was upto its usual par,smooth with a lovely aroma! now the NYCD was really nice, fruity, which i wasnt expecting! but had that diesel kick!
After a couple of j's each we decided to head off for a walk towards barneys, i was told by a pal to go into the prix dami and try there fishermans friend! but when entering they had a turnstyle that u had to pay at to get in!!!! we thought it was abit suspect so decided to leave it and carry on towards barneys, we werent intending to actually go there but just seems to head that way was we left the 420!
On making it as far as Greenhouse Seeds, we decided to rest our feet and went in, a quick look at the menu and i notice the NTB, have to get a gram of that! the missus gets a gram of Amnezia hze and we sit down to roll one, waiting for one of the waitresses to come to the table and serve us which didnt happen, they seemed to go round al the other tables apart from ours so we finnished rolling the j's and left!
We ended up walking to Grey Area, we wanted to go in here but it still was packed to the rafters with a q out the door!! so we headed back towards Damrak feeling alttle hungry and alittle stoned, we decided to have some fast food intake in the form of BKing! was actually nice for once!!
With our bellies full and in need of another j, we headed towards the greenplace as everone was raving about it on here, well thanks guys, this has to be the place to smoke from now on!!! green...GOOOD!!! service...GOOOD!!! smoking area...THE NUTS!! my new top spot to toke away!! We order sum drinks and went straight into their smoking room out the back and smoked some of the NTB and A hze from Greenhouse. we ended up staying here till 3 were we rushed back to the bar to meet our guy for the apartment. we made it just as he was about to leave!
Well the apartment was the mutts nuts! we were on the first floor and the stairs were the same as home! i kid u not! its the first time ive ever been to dam and not had to mission to my bed!!!! the only thing i would say about the place was the no smoking in the apartment rule, the balcony was fine, and prob would be in the summer, but it was FREEZING last weekend so wasnt too good! still everything else about the place made up for it!!
we had afew j's there and by about 6ish we were hungry again! the missus really wanted a wok to walk so we headed to the one just passed the 420 towards HomeGrown Fantasy,i got talking to the man who served us behind the counter and found out his brother owned the one in soho! were id eaten not two days b4!
then off to HGF, on arrival i did the usual of looking at the menu, i already knew what i wanted before i opened the folder, but to my dismay the CHEESE was "sold out!!!" NOOOOOOOOOO!!! After being greeted by the budtender, i asked if it was due in soon to which she said oh its just come in!!!! a bag of that for me, the missus opts for a bag of snow white ( for old times sake! i did a LONG stint of this back in the day!!). We order some drinks and sit down to roll one up, cheese was really heavy, just how i like it! and the snow white wasnt good! way below standard, it didnt look all that to begin with, but like i said, it was more for old times!
I had to get more cheese so bought another 2 bags! We then headed home, but on the way seemed to end up stopping in the 420! only to be greeted by the same budtender as before, who said the new Nev's had just come in, 2g please! We smoked some of that and afew more, cant remember what as my hand writing in my note book isnt readable!
All i can remeber is that i woke up the next day with not alot left from the day b4!
Days 2 (my Bday!!!) and days 3 to follow!!!

im VERY tired now and ive got work to do!

how was it getting from eindhoven airport to 'dam central station? ill be doing that route, and having never been there before, im a little concerned about finding the bus stop to get to eindhoven station, and finding the right plat forms etc, quickly enough. is it all pretty obvious and easy? how long did it take you from landing to being in 'dam?

walk out of arrivals at Eindhoven, walk straight ahead out the exit and turn right, and the bus stop is no more than 30 metres away... 15 mins later and your at Eindhoven station, and its simple from there, one train to Amsterdam CS. What details do you need? Day 2- My Bday!!
Rising early!! not due to it being my birthday, just its what i/we do since the kids were born! to a prerolled mix spliff done by my lovely missus!
We then got ready and headed out towards the GreenPlace cs to look for somewhere new to have brekkie as we have always gone to barneys, but since it has moved over to uptown and they seem to think that means they can charge more for the same food is getting abit of a joke to me now so alittle wonder in this direction seemed a good idea!
finding nothing that looked anywhere half decent we sort of ended up over by the back of dam square by the supermarket and found o'reilly's pub, now dont get me wrong, im irish by name and heart, but my thick south london accent wouldnt make u think so! in we went and got the usual irish welcome! the irish brekfast is a must from here! and at only 9.90 u cant go wrong!
So all fed and ready to go we head off back towards GPlace as after our visit the day b4 we knew it was a nice place to chill. on entering i veiwed the menu and thought sod it, 2g of LA CON, 2g AK47 and 2g SSH for the missus, she didnt rate it as good as the 420's but said it was good! now the LA was a good solid smoke! and the AK was ok, i say this as i have grown this personally for many years and feel i have had ALOT better effects from my own, not being bias, i would say it looked old and dry in its defence, still an ok smoke!
We left here as we had a meet n greet @ 420 with afew ppl off here, i wasnt really expecting anyone to turn up as the heavens decided to open up most of the day! After making it to the 420, soaked throu! the place was packed and the doubt of anyone turning up seemed alot less likely! we managed to get seated on one of the high tables opposite the bar and tried to spot anyone who looked like they were looking for us! but i was VERY VERY VERY stoned by this point and prob had more of a monged look than anything else, i wouldnt have approached me! we smoked afew j's waited till bout 2.30 then decided to head back to the apartment to get ready to head out to leidseplein as the missus loves it down that way, so off we headed in the pissing rain, getting completely soaked throu!
We had quiet afew j's n drinks b4 heading out, we ended up going back to the 420 for some more SSH for the missus b4 heading down to leidseplein on the tram!
btw it had stopped raining when we left the apartment, but when we got off the tram the heavens open up again, so we ran down to the rockij and in her rush the missus went head over heels on her arse soaking her jeans through!!! i couldnt stop laughing and tried helping her up to which she pulled me over!
The pair of us walk into the rockerij sopping wet! it was pretty empty and when we ordered some drinks and explained to the waitress what had happened she was kind enough to get a little heater out and set it up to help us dry alittle quicker! she got a nice tip! we got 1 g of lemon skunk which didnt seem all that! poor taste and alittle harsh on the throat.
once we had dried off we headed out and wandered round for abit looking for somewhere nice to eat, we ended up stumbling on a nice looking thai, cant tell u the name or where it was as i cannot remember! it was good thou and average priced!
My notes pickup again here and it looks as thou we headedback to the 420 via Resin CS, were the missus picked up some of there resin haze, the notes i got on this just say it was nice with a good flavor to it, i dont know if this was my comment or the missus!
We also stopped in Da Kroon just to view the menu, but i didnt see anything of interest so we just went straight back over to the 420! oh she did it again in Da kroon, fall over that is! on the little step on the left as u go in, she got a cheer from the guys sitting there!
anyways back in the 420 and we stock up with 1g of SSH and 1g of Napal for me! The Napal was nice n smooth smoke! we smoked quiet alot in here before head back to the apartment! oh we did a quick stop in BABA to check the menu and i ended up picking up some of their NTB, cant tellu what it was like as i havent smoked it yet! if u know what i mean!!

Day 3
awoke late on our final day! well i say late, we had to be out of the apartment by 11 and we still had to pack n tidy the place up! Just as we had finnished and had a j on the balcony, the owner arrived to take the keys and said that he wasnt expecting it to be as clean as it was, he thought it was a better job than the lady who does it!!! my missus is a clean freak! cant say i am but she hates mess! We said our goodbyes and set off for central station to leave are bags in the lockers for the rest of the day as we didnt fly till 8pm! from the station we headed back down towards o'reillys for another brekkie to find it wasnt open till 12!! so on a recomendation from the bud tender @ 420 we walked alittle further down to tweede kaimer and i got 2g of rifman shibini and the missus got 1g of Hawian hze, got a tea n water and proceeded to smoke 1 of each, the rifman was VERY good, it was really smooth smoke with a sweet and spicey taste to it mmmmmmm! the hawian was nice, the missus liked the taste, i couldnt taste it properly as the rifman i rolled was packed and over powered that and the brekkie we had after!
After walking back to o'reilly's and having another good feed, we decided that more bud was needed for the soveniur tin at home! so we headed across to Grey Area for 1g of Hindu kush then to HomeGrown Fantasy as i wanted some more of there Cheese! on the way we picked up some gifts for the kids, got 2 10euro bags of cheese and we left for GreenPlace where we got 2g of LA Con and sat in the back smoking room, while tokin away i realised i had left the envelopes in the apartment so was needing more! So as we usually do before we leave we headed to the 420 for our final smoke picking up the needed envelopes on the way! the missus sat in there while i went off to do the deed of sending! ( oh they BOTH came throu the other day! STANK to high heaven!!!) and sorting are boarding passes ( See post 51 mins internet in this section, free mins as i didnt use them all!!) which i done the quickest ive ever done it! i usually do it as soon as we get there, but being my bday, i had i one track mind when i arrived! smoke smoke smoke!!! getting back to the 420 to find the missus with 2 j's on the go and a vap ready to go aswell! god i love her! oh they were all for me! 1 pure SSH for there, 1 pure nycd from there and the vap was nepal from there!! i could bearly talk or walk after!! We managed to squeeze afew more j's in b4 having to head off to the airport. When trying to get tickets to the airport at the station, none of the machines would take my card and was only excepting coins, and the only time i havent got a pocket full of them!! It was rush hour aswell which didnt help, i managed to buy a water n crisps and get enough change to get the tickets! the rest of the journey home was the same as the getting there, really nice and easy, oh one thing, we got a free upgrade to first as they spotted it was my bday! NICE!!!!
