Return to my spiritual home 26th Nov til 28th

Post by Heynubis »

Hi everybody!
Im a frequent visitor to A'dam and wil be back in a few weeks. Ashamedly only discovered this site by accident a week ago while reading up on the latest smoking ban (thanks to all for the info). Staying near Vondelpark and looking 4ward to checking out some local coffeeshops. Will try to avoid the stoned pinball test of bouncing from 1 coffeeshop to another and try to cram in a few museums instead of avoiding roomservice and eating munchies. Looking 4ward to the India Festival, IDFA and poss Damien Hurst's vastly overpriced crystal skull and chatting with some locals. It was a task & a half finding a hotel with smoking rooms but am pleased to have 1. Big thanks to the site and eagerly awaiting to sample a few more of your best wares.
Bye for now, Paul

Welcome to the forum.

I have posted you on the November Whos In Town page. There are a lot of folks in town during your visit. You may even want to pick a day with a lot of people and plan a Meet and Greet. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop and I'll post it.

I leave the 25th and will be posting menus on the Coffeeshop Menus page the two previous weeks so you'll have fresh menus to peruse.

Have a great trip.

Enjoy

Thanks guys. You seem to know your way round this site, Fly By Nite cheers for putting me on Nov Whos in town, great idea.
Im in A'dam for my 18th visit from 26th Nov til 28th Nov, goin to crash soon but will be on as often as I can, got some stuff to check out thru the forum to make the most of my trip. 2 yrs ago had a pipedream of maybe buying a place for regular visits poss study there. Still a dream but if circumstances are right, who knows. Even started lookin at flats but wasnt to be in 2006/7 maybe in a few yrs, thank god I didnt given the economy. Phew
Anyhow chat again soon,
Paul
