how freaking hard is it to understand that making somethin illegal DOES NOT STOP CONSUMPTION, its called growing themselves or going underground and supporting organized crime. all this will do is close legit tax paying stores and move the shrooms to the untaxed unregulated underground, what a shame.

The only things on t'web that I've seen about this are the dutchnews link above and a few other boards, using the same source.

Nothing about this on other sites, Dutch and UK newspaper sites for example..

Keeping my fingers crossed that this is just some bad paranoid journalism

Just phoned conscious dreams and they said that it will probably take dutch authorities a month to implement the ban after the 1st December

thats shit! how many times was the ambulance called for alcohol related incidents, but they aint banning that!!

I was in my local smartshop in haarlem yesterday and the owner confirmed they will no longer be able to sell mushrooms after 1st december. Hopefully something will happen in the next couple of weeks but as it stands its gonna be hard times from december. What a load of bollocks.

So the big question is... If the ban goes into effect on the 1st, will I still be able to get them on the 20th when I arrive? And when I say get them I mean in a smart shop as opposed to any old cack... Should be an obvious answer I know, but as theory is often different from practise it's time to ask questions.

I reckon you'll be alright mate...just go to the well know smartshops and im sure they'll have a few tucked away somewhere if necessary. The ban prob wont be enforced until the new year...

...whats the deal with growing kits though, i guess selling them will be illegal but whats to stop someone from creating their own? Not really sure how they work but how can you ban somethings thats not even grown yet? kinda like the seed law i guess.

Just looking at the news and understanding Dutch as well as I can it seems they are still selling their stock until it runs out, so get in there if you can...

Managed to get some mushrooms from Conscious Dreams on 6th Dec, but all they had left was Philosophers Stones for €20 as had sold out of the rest. Don't know about the others...
