As I've typed before, I will be staying at the Ibis, right by the station, so this is a great resource for me. One question I do have is where is Grey Area in relationship to the station? I hear so much stuff about them on here, I figure it has to be one of the best. Also, of these CSs you've mentioned around the station, how do they rank quality wise compared to the whole area, like is Rockerjj (I think I spelled that right) as good as Mellow Yellow and so forth.

As crazy as it may sound, our quest is to find the most powerful Sativa, Indica and Hash (is there such a thing as a all sativa or all indica hash?

Thanks to everyone for your patience with me -dave :)

Hi Dave. :)

Grey Area is exactly near the station and my best advice is to print of a copy of the ACD map to help you. It shouldnt take you longer than 20 mins to find it, im a really slow walker as well.

Rockerji is quite a nice little shop, its quite a big chain and has many shops each with their own interesting interior. But like i said earlier i would recommend Piscasso's as the first stop after arriving, for good weed and the fact you get free coffee and some breakie when you spend over 12.50 euro on weed. Which is always nice.

On the hash front, the strain does cause a variation in effect but you wont always see the hash described as being either Indica or Sativa. You'll most likely see descriptions such as ' up high ' or ' energetic high ' for Sativa hashs and ' stoned ' or ' heavy stone ' for the Indica hash's. With hash's its better to look for certain types of hash's for strength etc. Such as Ice Hash's are usually very strong, while most Marocs are a little bit easier on the brain but still very tasty.

Id say if your looking for strong hash you should hit the Dampkring, a branch of which is not to far away from central station, the old pink floyds. Get some of their water works, there is also a hash called terminator which ive heard is very strong ill get back to you on where to buy that from. Bushdocter has some very good, albeit expensive Ice Hash's, again ive heard very good things about their Kali Mist Ice Hash. Those should be strong enough to knock you about a bit, also Grey Mist Crystals from Grey Area are very very strong and the Golden Soles, which is a Marrocan, is very nice. You gotta get down to Stix to try the Temple Balls and to Katsu for the Katsu ice.

I hope helps, most of those hashs are very strong and all are super tasty and should keep you going for a bit.

the first stop for me is always prix d'ami, great place, really chilled out, opens at 9 am 7 days a week so if u get in early its spot on.

its quite litterally the first street on your right walking towards the dam square from central, like 50 meters out of the CS exit.

they have some great bud falled fishermans friend, its amsterdams best kept secret imo, 7.50e a gram but its the strongest shit on their menu, they even admit it!!!

jus try it dont let the price fool you

I went by plane new york to germany via amsterdam for a wedding. I planned the amsterdam connection for obvious reasons.. But unfortunately I had about 3 hours at best before i hopped the train..That INDEED will be another story for another day... {think searched}

So I planned it out like every second counted.. Came here, A.C.D. Greatest spot and scrutinized that map... I calculted that when that sub door opened I was beelining to the first legal shop of my life... Like running.... the very closest out of the gate was Central and dam if I didn't hit it like a heat sinking missle.. Like a kid in the candy shop given a 5 minute free for all.
Next was the Grey Area which took a lttle extra but i wanted to hit a heavily approved one.....
That guy at Grey area saved my ass in around about way...... That is part of that long story that we will have plenty of time to discuss. But I pulled it off in 3 hours and had a blast...for awhile....

Is the one I've always gone to first...was kind of surprised to see that you have to smoke outside (was there on 10/30), but this was always kind of a transient place anyway, so didn't mind. Smoke is always good. Others on this board like to head in the Picasso/Barney's direction...which is nice also.
