They do all sorts of arty stuff in there man...

Aye, I was a regular before they cleaned the place up with lottery money ... put the bar on Argyll St in etc... Friday nights with SLAM, used to come out covered in train oil. Them were the days... *sniff*

Now it tends to be full of kids who're more likely to snarl at you while they barge past and spill your drink than apologise and become your best friend for the night... drugs were better back then though :lol:

Anyways, sorry for the thread hijack... back onto movie tip: fans of the alien films should check that out if your close enough, the first alien war was properly frightening, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alien_War read about it there... at the end when you went running, SCREAMING your head off out into a public street... white as a fkkin ghost, much to the amusement of the people out on argyll street, a busy main shopping street in Glasgow for those who don't know it :lol:

Oh yah!!

:lol:

Marge: Okay, I want you to tell me what these fellas looked like.
Hooker #1: Well, the little guy, he was kinda funny-looking.
Marge: In what way?
Hooker #1: I dunno, just funny-lookin'.
Marge: Can you be any more specific?
Hooker #1: I couldn't really say. He wasn't circumcised.
Marge: Was he funny lookin' apart from that?

:lol: :lol:

I was actually thinking of starting a thread about stoner films, what are your top ten as i just watched a low budget one last night called Puff Puff Pass, was okay, seen worse and better. Anyone know if this topic has been done? just for the sake of it heres my top 5;

Gotta mention Dazed & Confused as well, thanks to this Aerosmiths Sweet Emotion fast became one of my 'guilty pleasure' songs.

yeah me thinks so too, theres loads of others. Im sure a few of the oldies will get listed like easyrider but they were bit before my time and dont have the same effect when watched now imo. i did like dazed and confused, only watched that recently and thought it was funny.

Two to stay clear of are;

Rolling Kansas - absolute shit
I got 5 on it - worse film i have ever seen, ever!

That reminds me i haven't seen pineapple express yet, might have to go searching for the torrent. Another cool film i recently watched is The Wackness, Ben Kingsley is a Legend!!

Have to add "True Romance" to the stoner's list just for Brad Pitt's Floyd smoking out of the honey bear bong.

Dare I even attempt my top 10. It might cause the universe to implode.
