damn, why does Mellow Yellow enter with the bubble gum haze? for me thats the worst haze they ever had

(still its a nice smoke

), but the orange or blueberry haze are much better

I wonder why they thought S5 was an improvement on Pot of Gold? It sounds more like something you punch into a machine to get an Almond Joy. Or to make a record play.

S5 took 2 first place prizes at the 2008 Highlife Cup and was also overall winner of the Highlife cup. It was remaned Pot of Gold to make it sound more appealing. After S5 won the awards the name was returned to S5. Peace.

Help me out with this, Puffin. I'm not quite following.

Are we talking about the same Pot of Gold created by The Flying Dutchmen? The one that was third in the CC Indica Cup in 2003 and honorable mention in 1998, both as Pot of Gold? I've grown it for some time now and only recently started hearing it called S5. Are you saying that it originally was called S5, more than a decade ago?

I only know about the Pot of Gold/S5 at MY. MY is not strain specific; in other words, the name does not always match what is on offer. I know this to be true of other coffeeshops as well. To answer your question honestly, courtjester, I dont know if it is the original Pot of Gold strain by Flying Dutchmen. Peace.
