Depends on how many you take... usual visuals are things changing shape, (slightly) colour. Coversations with people who arnt tripping are very hard.. listening to things you hear it but dont process the words.. then get completly distracted by something melting in the background..
Tripping can get abit tiring after about 6 hours of it and u kinda want it to stop.
There Good fun, prefer LSD though because its easier to ingest, no nausea, better visuals and lasts longer.

Sorry souldrider i completely jacked your thread here .

completely agree about tripping getting tiring.

we try and drop as early as possible nowadays, so you can spend the evening smoking and reflecting

first time I ever took mushies in Dam, there were 7 of us (my stag do) and we took a box of mexicans each about 11pm. great night, great trip, but we were due to fly home 9am the next morning.

Needless to say we spent the next morning getting new flights and sending over-apologetic texts to girlfriends :?

'Joe' the Vape washer/budtender was p@*sed off with the noise from the roadwerks outside, as was I. I couldn't stay, I managed a vape with the 'CHEESE' - now that was one ay-may-zing pipe man, go for it

I agree with the trip getting tiring, although I've heard good reports about the thai shrooms being very enjoyable. Hawaiins made it impossible to concentrate on anything, slight time distortion with everything mixed up, the equadorians were a lot milder.

Friday 28th November

Got up at 7am and headed out to get some money, yes it's payday in Dam again. I withdrew €200, lets go!!

Stop off at Baba for 1g of NYCD. I always buy at least once from here as a mark of respect, because I don't chill in here since the smoking ban.

Headed back to the hostel with weed in pocket, to get my breakfast. Gerry gave me anoother free breakfast although I had money today, I really do love this hostel. I'm almost sad to think that when I move out here, I won't be staying at the hostel anymore, well I probably will at first...

Time to hit the diesel.. I love NYCD, and while it is not the strongest or the cheapest (€9.95g), I always loved the shop. Not a recommended buy, just a sentimental one, but hey the weed still does the trick. Green Place NYCD, just around the corner and €10 is better value ultimately.

Felt brave and followed with the last of the cheese. Went to bed.

Got up at 10am and went for another spliff. (I am doing this all from memory, so the non purchases that I smoked in between I am unable to recall.) Then chilled for a while with Rob, Steve, Ivo, Amy, Mark (Lampshade), Ben and numerous others. There was also a fantastic group of four french people, 3 guys and a girl, but i cannot remember their names. I took a group of people to Rokerij II by Haarlemerstraat, and introduced them to some wonders. I picked my own Bud of laughing bouddha again. I can't remember who exactly came out on this part of the trip, there was about 5 of us. you will see why I can't remember who exactly was there in a minute...

After we chilled there we headed back to the hostel, for a little smoke. Everyone who was still at the hostel seemed to be there so we chilled for a bit, a I headed of to Basjoe's, with a hostel visitor or two in tow....

There was Mark (Lampshade), Ben, Steve, Rob, and the French group. All 8 of us descended on Basjoe's like a swarm. USBL was in there with a lovely lady, whose name I DO remember, but not sure if i'm allowed to mention, so won't. James was behind the counter, I mentioned I had brought a few friends ;)

My order - 5g of cheese and 2g Heaven Haze (not Haze Heaven USBL). A lovely cup of Black chai too. Pipes, Bongs, Spliffs galore were passed around, and USBL kept calling me over and contaminating my nice healthy spliffs with Terminator. He was trying to kill us, lol

Me trying to survive one of my Cheese spliffs after it had been laced with Terminator (Thanks USBONGLORD)

After a very long time relaxing in Basjoe's, we headed off into the cold, and it was freezing. The wind chill factor was high too, very cold day, and I had managed to leave my coat in some coffeeshop somewhere. Oh well. The group split up, Ben and Rob going to look at tattoo's. The rest of us headed out to Museum Plein, so we could drop the French guys off at the Van Gogh Museum, and then Myself and Steve, who was from South London, and a CC judge, could find a place to smoke. Guess where we found....

Rokerij.

Guess what I ordered....

Yes, another Handpicked bud 1.97g of Laughing Bouddha, and a wonderful bud of Sour Diesel 1.43g. These were lovely. we sat in the very packed CS and began to smoke our weed. We chilled for just over an hour, and I had to make tracks, and get to the Green Place for a 6pm meet with Miss Jarl from the forum. It was now 5.20pm, so hopped on the tram.

I got there in timeand intorduced Miss Jarl to the Blue Cheese from the Green Place 1g €13, and the Cheese from Basjoe's. I also bought 2g of NYCD again ;). Miss Jarl got totally stoned and zoned out, it was lovely to see someone relaxing so fully.

I began to talk to an American couple. The girl, was extremely nervous as they had wanted to do mushrooms, but she was extremely worried about hallucinating and other things. I asked her what advice she had been given. She had been advised to buy philosophers stones. I calmed her down and told her how they were a very good choice for what she wanted. I explained to her how they literally make you a philosopher, and how they make you think and have realisations and understandings, they open the doors of the mind in an enlightening way, they reveal truth to you.

She relaxed over the course of the hour or so we spent chatting, and finally felt relaxed enough to take them. So they did and off they went. Shortly after this Miss Jarl came back to life and we headed off for a walk.

We definitely went to Lost in Amsterdam, and had a huge great Hookah between us, and we also went and chilled in Basjoe's for a while, there was a few people in there, USBL among them, as was to be expected. ;).

After That it was back to the hostel and a monster smoking session. Having not slept very well over the last week, too many sativa's, I decided to have a cheese run to end with. Unfortunately, this time I was slightly better armed against the Indica onslaught, and it took a Blue cheese, followed by a Cheese, follwed by another Blue Cheese to get me to sleep levels, and it was now 3.45am.

Saturday 29th November

Slightly better armed against the Indica onslaught???... Famous last words eh. Woke up at 13.50. Now the day was a bit out of kilter, so first stop after showering was the Hill St Blues on Warmoestraat for my Breakfast... Blended Pineapple and Mango with Apple Juice and a shot of spirulina. I don't know if any of you out there have ever heard of Juicing or the Juicemaster (Jason Vale), but I bought a juicer and got a free book by him called 7lbs in 7days: Super Juice Diet. It was sold as a diet book on the request of the publishers, but it is about juicing and incorporating live juices into our bodies for fuel. This particular book is a 7 day Juice only diet, and is probably the single most amazing thing I have ever done in my life. Needless to say, that's where i learned of the secret of spirulina ;) I recommend that everyone try the diet once in their lives, just to see what your body can feel like when fuelled by pure energy :)

Decided to hit it with a pure spliff Rokerij Sour Diesel, and settle in with my juice. I relaxed in the big couches at the rear, chatting to a guy who I couldn't work out if he was French, Jamaican, English or what??? He spoke to another guy in perfect French, he then spoke with a pure Jamaican accent, then spoke to me in as pure an English accent as i've heard, then again after talking to the French guy in perfect French, he spoke to me in English with a French accent. To say I was confused was an understatement. To say I regretted having a pure spliff was also a bit of an understatement, as that spliff started a cough that has lasted a week so far!!

Finished up there and headed back to the Hostel to see who was around and where we were going...

Lampshade, Ben and Myself, went off down to Basjoe's again for a little chill. James had run out of Cheese again, he did this to me last saturday as well!! Well luckily I still had some, so Ben went with Bas Special €11g and Jack Herer €8g. Had another lovely Black Chai and we chilled here for an hour, before deciding that our destiny lies on that ever important mission....

The quelling of the Hunger. This took us on a little jaunt to a group favorite that is not too far from Basjoe's, Subway!! We headed off and went into the coldest weather of the year so far. Me still without my coat was absolutely freezing. We managed to make it to Subway, where all 3 of us ordered a footlong. I got a meal with a cookie, Ben bought a cookie, but lampshade stuck with his roll. I decided to only eat half of mine, as did Ben, but Lampshade decided he was hungry. Myself and Ben tucked into our cookies, and enjoyed them so much that Ben went to buy some more, and was told you get 3 for €1.80, so he bought 3. I was going to get some too, but Lampshade got up first, and asked about the prices, they said they also do 6 for €3.50, so he bought 6. We went halves on that :)

we headed back to the hostel to chill and have some smoke. On our next trip out we decided to head to another coffeeshop, but can't remember which one :p
We managed to make it about halfway, before I had to stop into a souvenir shop and buy myself a Amsterdam - Holland hoodie. €29.50. It was better than nothing. Later that day I headed out to Green Place, where I chilled for a couple of hours watching the TV in the smoking room. Bought some more NYCD while there and copious cups of tea and looza's.

Chilled back in the hostel and had a really big smoke up before hitting the sack quite early at 1am, especially considering the time I'd got up.

Sunday 24th November

Last day of the trip, and it wasn't a particularly good day. Started off with a nagging feeling of unease, which didn't really leave me all day, I thought it was because I was going home that day, and that's what I put it down to, now, with the benefit of hindsight, I know different.

Woke up at 8am, showered packed, then went downstairs to check out. Got that out of the way, chucked my bags into the storage room downstairs, and went back up for my breakfast. Sat with Ben in the hostel smoking room, and we decided we were going to watch the football. We weren't sure where, we'd get it sorted!

I headed off at 10am, for a morning stroll to Green Place. I got 2 footsteps outside the hostel, and the Pub opposite has Skysports AND a smoking room that is weed friendly. Let Ben know then left the hostel again and managed to get to Green Place. Here I bought 2g Blue Cheese, I really have developed quite a taste for the cheeses on this trip, despite me being 'Mr Sativa' and 1g NYCD. Sat down and chilled for 3 hours. Even got to watch the Ajax game on the telly.

During my time sitting in the smoking room, I was joined by the American couple from Friday night. They were really pleased to see me and thank me effusively for the advice I had given them about the stones. They had experienced exactly what I said they would. That poses the paradoxal question, did they experience that because of the way I had conditioned their minds? Or was just that I was right about the effects of Philosopher's Stones? In reality it was a mixture of both, but this is a good example of why you should always be in a good state of mind when taking Mushrooms. Your expectation plays a large part in the trip..

They took my Photo and email address and said they'd be in touch.

After what seemed like forever chilling in there, I headed back to the hostel so we could get settled in for the 2:30 kick off. Having got back to the hostel, Ben has decided to watch the game in the hostel now. In anticipation, we shoot off to Greenhouse Centrum for a quick top up. I bought 2g of Amnesia Haze. Then it was back to the hostel for 3 hours of smoking and watching football.

That all over with, it was time to get ready and leave, just time for some food, then it was off to Centraal station at 7.30pm.

Got to the station, and didn't have any change for the ticket, so had to drag my ass all the way upto the ticket office and pay an extra 50c, before getting onto the train.

Things then started to get worse. My bag holdall gets stopped at security, and they make me remove my grinder. It takes a few minutes of persuasion to convince them that this comes backwards and forwards with me all the time, but he gives me it back, phew, there's 9 days of crystals in there, can't lose that ;)

Get down to the gate and I'm the first in the queue, the woman doing the boarding part tells me my bag is too big for hand luggage. I say this has been backwards and forwards with me at least 3 times this year already. She advises me we are too full, it needs to go in the hold. I overhear the two guys behind me saying 'see I told you she looked like she was in a bad mood upstairs'. Great.

Eventually we land at Luton. I had got on the back of the plane, but they didn't bother bringing steps to help us get off, so I had to wait until almost last.

When I eventually found the baggage carousel for my flight (I've only ever had carry on), I find my bag just wheeling around on it's own. I wait for it, and then begin my journey home.

Only Mr Customs has slightly different ideas than me and decides that I don't need to go home just yet. He performs a search of my Bag, where he finds a used grinder, and 2 x 2g bags of weed

He politely informs me that he is interested in Coke and Smack, not Marijuana, and asks me if I use either. This I say no to, of course. He swabs my bag and I am clean. He then drops my grinder back into my bag, saying he's not going to bother with this, asks me to repack my stuff, and says he'll be back in a minute. So i repack my bag and await his return. Singing with joy inside that I still have my crystals!

Suddenly he comes back being very aggressive, I should be arresting you etc, but I'm letting you go, don't do it again, etc. This was obviously just an attempt to scare me, he really didn't scare me, but I'd already decided to check my bags were thoroughly empty before I travel now

I got out of there and back to the car, where I lit up my prerolled from the ashtray, and got home as quickly as possible. The exhaust on my car falling off on the way

As soon as I got home, I took out my travel bag and removed the 2 bags of weed from the rear pocket he hadn't checked, and placed them on the side. 1g Cheese from Basjoes and 1g Heaven Haze from Basjoe's.

Never going to do that again, but hey, I still got a smoke out of it.

and the best thing of all? As I sit here typing this, i do so in the knowledge that it is only 19days, till I get to go out there and do it all over again.

Thoughts and comments:

Overall it was a fantastic week, i have met so many wonderful people and made so many new friends. Ultimately this is a smoking diary, and hence, why Wednesday and Thursday are virtually non-existent days, but they were actually among the most enjoyable days out there, just chilling meeting people and chatting to them. It's one of the things I love doing so much. I'd like to thank everyone who turned up to the meet and greet, and to all those I met during my time. There were so many people at the meet and greet, I hardly got to talk to any of you, Hopefully we'll get to do this again, oh and Bhang Bhuddie, what happened to you? The I'll be back Later effort in the 420 didn't materialise mate, hope your OK!

You better make up for it on New Year's Eve 4.20 @420 Cafe. Oh and we'll make it 4.20 New Years Day @ 430 cafe too, see you all there, and I hope you have enjoyed living this trip vacariously through my eyes.

God bless you all, peace and happiness and long time smoking my friends.

Until next time

LOL ya stoner :P

It's Heaven Haze at Basjoe and Haze Heaven at Katsu. They do have different effects as well as a completely different look about them, but I'll write about that in my detailed weed/hash report later.

I'm missing being there already, thank goodness I have "reinforcements" hehe. I bet most of us do to some extent.

It was really wonderful to meet nice people over there, especially my new friend and namesake, luvtick.
