i thought liquids, especially shampoo, hair gel, etc. are all banned from flights?Scientificz wrote: the best way I've encountered is wrapping it in about 6 layers of cling film and sticking it in a bottle of shampoo or shower gel (decent sized bottle with wide neck underneath a flip-lid dispenser) as long as the bottle is opaque, you'll have no worries. Also make sure the bottle is already kinda full before you put the hash in. Give the bottle a shake and the swag stays at the bottom of the bottle
Success in Amsterdam
only large amounts are banned from carry-ons, you can still put a full shampoo bottle in checked luggage, also word from the TSA is the liqiud restriction is soon to go.dizz hizz wrote:i thought liquids, especially shampoo, hair gel, etc. are all banned from flights?Scientificz wrote: the best way I've encountered is wrapping it in about 6 layers of cling film and sticking it in a bottle of shampoo or shower gel (decent sized bottle with wide neck underneath a flip-lid dispenser) as long as the bottle is opaque, you'll have no worries. that's right, last time I went over, Manc customs nicked my contact lens solution!!
but we're not that stupid, and any contraband gets checked in on arrival at the airport. that way, it's completely out of your hands and you only have to put the brown trousers back on at customs at home

Just got back on monday with some souvenirs...2 spliffs of Jack Herer, 1 spliff of LA Con and a fat white dolphin spliff, also about 2 grams of zero zero hash. Each were still in their baggy from the CS, i basically stuffed them in the bottom of my suitcase and crossed my fingers. Got through no problemo
Mate of mine did the shower gel trick and got about 4 grams amnesia haze through, he swears by it but i cant be arsed with trying to get it out and clean it up.

But it's so easy though mateZootman wrote:

just use some cheapo supermarket own brand gel and when you get home, cut the top off the bottle
If you're worried about 'cleaning it up' then make sure the top layer of wrapping is completely airtight (a johnny is ideal) and snip the knot- voila nice dry stash before your eyes in less than a minute of opening your bag

peace
Of course it's x-rayed, but put things into context;
I used to travel with an 85litre rucksack, stuffed full of a week's worth of clothes, a box of minidiscs or cds (in the days before mp3), camera, a couple of books, souvenirs (legal ones
How big do you suppose the screen is that they use to view the x-ray images? And how long do you think they spend looking at each bag?
To be doubly sure, I used to arrange things in the bag so that the camera, minidiscs etc were in front of the washbag, where the gel was at.
I would put 'red herrings' like a manicure set, razor, etc around the gel bottle.
To anyone looking at the bag through an x-ray machine, the 20-40g of hash would just be an obscured blob, like everything else in the bag that isn't metallic.
If you look like a drug addict or terrorist, then there is a chance that you could get pulled to one side, but then the customs monkeys have the job of finding it in your toiletries.
A few tips that seemed to help me and other people I know who have done this are; have a shave the morning that you fly and wear clean clothes, this reduces your chance of being gripped by more than 50% and is hardly mission impossible.
Peace out
