Am I right this is a buy n fly place? what about the sister shop Bij?

The Boerejongens is for buy and fly but there is also a room with tables and seats.

The Bij is for buy and fly too. No seats but a big rolling table in the middle.

And regarding the Ocean's 11, I have to quote DeathRowRecords. It is the only haze they sell that is really crap. But personally I've tried this strain also in other shops and never liked it...

Ah, stay also away from the Cheese Skunk they sell at the Bij. The first batch they got was so bad that the budtender told me "that is not good" as soon as I asked to see and smell. I really don't know why they had this on the menu last week. The buds very looking so weak, like the ones of an outdoor with diseases.....

There were 2 guys on the counter - a tall & skinny guy with brown curly hair and a short light-skinned black guy with a shaved head. The tall dude served me 1st, and was totally obliging when I asked to sniff about 8 or 9 types of weed, despite the queue of about 4 guys behind us there was no rushing. The John Deere got swerved, as did the Boerejack & Amnesia x G13. As I was with the mrs we got 10g between us - namely 2g Amnesia; 2g SSH; 2g White Rhino; 1g Ocean's 11; 1g Sanguna. The other guy was equally friendly and happy to show me whatever when I asked for 2g of Bubble Kush, by which time the queue had disappeared.

Amnesia was as good as I've ever had it (9.50/g), likewise the SSH (9.50/g) although the latter was drier than I like it. Bubble Kush was simply amazing for the price (7/g), I really don't think it's meant to be BUBBA kush as it tastes so different, a pretty potent Indica nonetheless. As is White Rhino (8/g), not what I had imagined, but still a very potent Indica, with a White Widow look & feel but stronger on the inhale & a more earthy taste than normal WW. The Ocean's 11 (10 or 11/g?) was 1 of the worst strains we bought on the trip, certainly the worst in b'jongens. Far too dry, with a mildly Hazey taste but not much of a high at all afterwards. We were lucky to get the Sanguna (10E/g), as the tub was empty, but the budtender had some crumbs left under the counter in a smaller jar. Best by far, no wonder it was sold out by 11am! Others have suggested it's SoGouda in another guise....it certainly had Cheese in it, but was nothing like the SoGouda we got from from Katsu.

It's well known that this shop has banned smoking inside for some time, but they let you come in and roll as often as you like. Since 90% or more of the customers (the budtender's words) are Dutch & happy to buy&fly the no smoking rule isn't a problem.

Anyway in summary, boerejongens is a great shop which I recommend, 2 trams (7 & 17?) and 2 buses stop at Postjesweg round the corner, they gave us about a 10 euro discount off the bill (unintentionally or otherwise, this was appreciated, paid 80Euros instead of 88?), 2 packs of Futurola papers free and some glossy weed magazines to take for the tram home. Next time I'll ask what's off menu, if it wasn't for the growing queue forming behind me last weekend I would have done.

I am glad you still went and happy you had a better time than me here, this is what it is all about. We post our opinions then another differs, all good in my book.

it was not me but it was the owner of katsu wondering if the sanguna was similar to his sogouda when i showed him, but imo its not very similar.

Tomato can? Lets see you step in to a ring/octagon in front of thousands of people and fight. Yvel is a legend and if he works there I will be visiting this shop in 3 weeks to get a pic with him possibly smoke him out, if possible. Not trying to start shit, but give the man the respect he deserves.

good for you...heheh...i get in a ring not an octofuck what..and ive done that..so down boy...im insultin the sport not the man....we used to train these clowns and teach them punching techniques...95 percent of em lift ther legs up on a throw and then..down theyt go...and btw yeah....ive been in a ring..well over 130 times...sooooooooooo...tell him good luck and go mainstream.....real money,not chump change...and im glad i could pull the first post out of ya,welcome and have fun

Listen I am a fan of ALL combat sports be it boxing, judo, muay thai, mma, sumo, etc. Just saying, give the man some respect and quit acting like you would even stand a chance with Yvel in a ring or octfuck whatever your retarded ass says. I've been viewing this site quite some time now and you my friend don't intimidate me with your bullshit antics. Fuck you and your so called amatuer boxing record. I've been boxing all my life also and doing judo, bjj ,muay thai, etc, and amatuer records are just that AMATUER! 130 times LOL sure you have. Next time you are in the Dam swing by the shop and challenge Gilbert to a boxing match and record it tough guy. I am sure he would be more than happy to oblige you to a duel.I show people respect who deserve respect inside or outside of the ring no matter what fighting style they represent. Sorry for insulting you that wasn't my plan. I just lost my cool. No he is not my hero, just respect what he has done in a ring that's all. I would be happy to sit with ya and smoke. I will be in the Dam from the 20th to the 23rd of March. It's just funny to me that someone with so much ring experience as yourself and someone as old as you doesn't show respect to someone who has fought also , no matter what type of fighting it is.
