Fantastic reporting.
Really brought back memories of my first time. The first thing I remember seeing when I got out of Central Station was the parking garage,....for bikes. Never saw anything like that before.
Luckily I had read the book that FBN always tells people to read (See link below, How not to Get Hit by a Bike in Amsterdam ) and was somewhat aware of the bike situation.
Am eagerly awaiting the rest of the report.

excellent excellent first timers point of view so far! Guess you learnt the hard way about cyclists in dam, Ive gotten used to it now but at first (especially after a smoke) it was hard work remembering to look out for them.
