At the moment I like mainly disco and house mixed up - If you know of DJs such as Maurice Fulton, Rahaan and David Mancuso you know what I mean.
Also like "Yacht Rock" such as Steely Dan,CSNY, Loggins and Messina, Michael McDonald and Hall and Oates etc
If any of you guys are old enough to remember I also used to produce D&B for labels such as Good Looking BITD

My first encounter with music was salsa and colombian jazz/funk/latino shit thanks to my mum being colombian.
My first love of music was hiphop, i remember going to ourprice in brixton when i was 13 and going halfs with my mate on the '94 snoop dogg album, doggy style, the tape version!! for £8!!! we copied it on his tape deck, i got the copy and the artwork, he took the original....those were the days.
In my later teens Jungle music took over and im still raving to it till this day (just!)
Went through a big indy phase as well in my early 20s, now im 27 and i love everything, as long its got a good beat and vibe im cool with it.

anything that sounds good. I like a bit of classic Fm when i'm stuck on the
M25, anything by bach or elgar is cool. Mainly into hard house/psyc trance at the moment. Picked up a wicked album from Cyberdog, Camden the other week - Artifakts II. Best thing i've heard for a long time!
PS: I love that song/video 'Handlebars' by Flobots, keep catching it on MTV at the moment and I get totally transfixed by it.

its prolly just easier to list the music i dont like so here goes:
Tecno(and all similar forms)- i dont care what you europeans call it, its all tecno and it all blows ass
Country- all this music sucks; except for one musician, the man in black, MR. Johnny Cash. He had good music. But other than that, god damn hillbillies need to stop complaining about their damn dogs, pick-up trucks, tactors and girlfriends.
Rap- i should put emphisis on most rap sucks, because there is some rap, rap/metal, rap/hip-hop that I actually like and can stand listening to

Why sit here and tell us what is crap?
It is only your opinion, so why don't you just do what the op asked and put down the music you like.
Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it sucks ass. If that was the case you'd realise Johnny Cash was worse than any techno record, but then, that's MY opinion.
Please try and be a positive person, and list the music you like, and allow everyone else the freedom to enjoy what they like, without criticising them just because they have different tastes. Life would be very boring otherwise, so appreciate everyone's differences and lighten up. Smoke a joint and think about peace love and harmony

You're right, it is only my opinion and in my opinion those types of music don't appeal to me, so in my OPINION they blow ass! Now, am I going to sit here and harp on somebody who says that techno and all similar forms are better than Johnny Cash. No, because that is your opinion and you're entitled to say what you want.
"Opinions are like assholes, everyone's got one, and not all of them are alike."
If they were, well then and I quote:
Life would be very boring otherwise, so appreciate everyone's differences and lighten up
So as to why I dont just do what the op asked me to and put down the music I like, is because it was easier and less time consuming than to sit here and list every genre of every type of every kind of music.
